Jerry Lawler welcomed everyone to the fourth edition of the show and introduced his musical co-host, Tom Nunnery. Then Lawler welcomed this week's guest, Memphis Wrestling announcer and Power Pro Wrestling promoter, Randy Hales. Randy discussed his background and they showed a clip of his first appearance on television interviewing the late, great Voice of Memphis Wrestling, Lance Russell.
They revisited a classic match from the Mid-South Coliseum featuring The Rock N' Roll Express, Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson taking on "Macho Man" Randy Savage and his brother "Leaping" Lanny Poffo with their father, Angelo Poffo in their corner.
Next was a video of Scott Bowden talking with Dave Brown, making fun of Randy Hales. Things would later get physical between Bowden and Hales.
They skip forward a few weeks later to a match at the Mid-South Coliseum between Randy Hales and Scott Bowden. "Wildfire" Tommy Rich attacked Randy Hales. Scott Bowden whipped Randy's back with a belt while Rich held him down. Jerry Lawler hit the ring to save Hales.
Jerry Lawler and Randy Hales discuss another one of Hales' memorable feuds with his rival, Brandon Baxter. Lawler mentioned that Brandon Baxter is on the radio now in Jonesboro, Arkansas. They show a televised Power Pro match between Hales and Baxter. During the match, Former WWE and ECW wrestler, "Vicious" Vic Grimes showed up, attacking Brandon Baxter. Baxter was sent crashing through a table with Grimes and Hales continuing the onslaught in the back of the studio.
Lawler and Hales touched on how Power Pro Wrestling in Memphis was once the developmental territory for the WWE where many of the WWE wrestlers would get their start including current WWE RAW General Manager, Olympic Gold Medalist and WWE Hall of Famer, Kurt Angle. They look back at Kurt Angle's very first pro wrestling interview and match from Power Pro Wrestling.
They looked back at a classic Power Pro Wrestling ending during Christmas time which included Jerry Lawler and Tom Nunnery being joined in the ring by all the Power Pro wrestlers to sing, "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer." These wrestlers included Lance Cade, The Mean Street Posse, Derrick King, "The Kat" Stacy Carter, Tracy Smothers, Spanky aka The Brian Kendrick, The Spellbinder, Brandon Baxter, Blade Boudreaux, Chris Rocker, Steve Bradley and a masked wrestler known as "American Dragon" that's now SmackDown Live General Manager, Daniel Bryan. At the end, Tom Nunnery was blasted with his guitar.
Jerry Lawler announced that Randy Hales is now the General Manager at King Jerry Lawler's Hall of Fame Bar & Grille on Beale Street.
They ended the show by showing highlights from the special Power Pro Rumble on the River event which was held outside at Tom Lee Park during Fourth of July weekend. Randy Hales crowned former WWE wrestler Giant Silva from The Oddities "The New Giant King." Silva was first placed in a three-on-one handicap match against Beau James, Swole and Bobby Bronze.
Lawler and "The Kat" Stacy Carter later arrived at Tom Lee Park fighting off Tony Faulk and Bulldog Raines outside the ring, before nailing Randy Hales inside the ring. The New Giant King grabbed Lawler. The Kat would hit the ring, trying to help, but Randy Hales stopped her by tossing her to the mat. Lawler and The Kat would fight back and ended up clearing the ring of Hales and his New Giant King.
