Pictures from Memphis POWER Wrestling Meet and Greet, Revenge At Resorts Results Including a "Hollywood" Jimmy Stinkface

Here's some pics from last night's HUGE Memphis POWER Wrestling event from Resorts Casino Tunica.  The night began with a special meet and greet opportunity which gave fans the chance to speak with and get autographs and photos from their favorite wrestling heroes.

Then, it was time to get all the action underway as our ring announcing extraordinaire, "The Mayor" Oscar Barlow welcomed the packed house at Resorts.  Just going to give you the quick results from the matches because my Wrestling News Center colleague, "B-Smoove" Brian Reese was also in tha house, covering the show and I know he's got a lot of AWESOME pics to share as well as John Herrada, who was ringside and captured lots of superb up close and personal images from this event that he's already posted.  Be sure to check those out.

Opening Contest-"The Standout" Charles Alexander defeated Blake Christopher with a 450 splash
Referee-Rashard Devon

2nd Match-The Spellbinder & "Mister Marvelous" Max Maximum defeated Reggie B. Fine & Derrick King in a tag-team match filled with nonstop laughs, thanks to Reggie and Derrick.  At the beginning of the match, Reggie said, "They too big!  I'm fifty-five years old! I ain't got no business wrestling these young low-budgets!"  He also tried offering Derrick twenty bucks to wrestle the whole match.  Good stuff.  Referee-Rashard Devon

3rd Match-Special Six-Man Tag: "Superstar" Bill Dundee & The Rock N Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) with Downtown Bruno defeated 24/7 (Kross & JR Mauler) & "The Memphis Brawler" Nathan Aulridge, managed by "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock
Referee-Jerry Calhoun

4th Match-WWE Hall of Famer, "The Birdman" Koko B. Ware defeated "The Nature Boy" Kevin White.  Everybody was getting down and doing the bird dance, including Oscar Barlow.
Referee-Rashard Devon

5th Match-"The INKcredible" Tatt2 and Kid Kash made their way inside the ring, but Kid Kash demanded that the match be made into a three-way dance and requested anyone in the back to accept his challenge.  Well, challenge accepted BIG time....as in Big Daddy V.  Big Daddy V defeated Tatt2 and Kid Kash.  Referee-Jerry Calhoun

6th Match-Too Cool ("Grandmaster Sexay" Brian Christopher & Rikishi) defeated The Lycan Assassin Cerebus, formerly known as one half of PG-13, Wolfie D and his partner, "Dangerous" Doug Gilbert.  Referee-Jerry Calhoun-"Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock came out, during the match to support Cerebus and Gilbert and lead them to victory, but was unsuccessful.  Afterwards, "Hollywood" Jimmy had to taste defeat in the form of a Stinkface, courtesy of Rikishi.  The crowd went crazy!  You've gotta see it!  Click the link to check it out.

Jerry "The King" Lawler introduced the man that got him started in wrestling, "The voice of Memphis Wrestling" for over 40 years and the legend himself, Lance Russell.  Then it was time to introduce the special guest referee for the Main Event, "The Boogie Woogie Man" Handsome Jimmy Valiant.

Main Event-WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler defeated "The King of the Mountain" Jeff Jarrett with Karen Jarrett.  Special Referee-Jimmy Valiant-During the match, Jimmy Valiant French kissed Karen, causing her to go ballistic and Jeff to tell her to wash her mouth out.  Karen repeatedly kept interfering which led Lawler to go get his lovely girlfriend, Lauryn.  This led to the hottest CATFIGHT ever!  In the end, the strap came down and eventually both Lawler and Valiant took turns punching Jarrett and getting the victory to close out this memorable night.  Tremendous crowd on hand.  Can't wait for the next one!  Be on the lookout for all of Brian Reese's great pictures and detailed report from this event.
GOOD CALL

Thank you Jimmy for keep such a good neat organized blog. I'd gave money to have been at the Tunica show but my health says no.
