Former professional wrestler Savannah Jack passes away at the age of 63

It is with deep sadness to report
that former professional wrestler
Savannah Jack,
real name
Savannah Svatma (Teddy) Russell,
passed away on Tuesday,January 17th
at the age of 63
in Minneapolis,MN,
according to the Minneapolis,MN newspaper publication
The Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

Russell was a 1st degree blackbelt in TaeKwonDo
and he was a former professional wrestler
in Bill Watts' Universal Wrestling Federation
back in latter stages of 1986,
where he became the company's television champion,
feuding with the likes of Buddy "Jack" Roberts,
"Gentleman" Chris Adams,
The One Man Gang,
"Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert
and "Iceman" King Parsons.
