Rima Fakih broke her ribs during "Tough Enough"

Miss USA Rima Fakih told that she was eliminated from "Tough Enough" after fracturing three of her ribs during practice.

"Well, I was training with Bill one-on-one when I was already injured for about a week. And then he sat on me, on the side with the fractured ribs, and I screamed out loudly. He picks me up and is like "Rima, I'm a father with two daughters. I know when they're in pain so tell me what's going on." So I tell him how I fractured my ribs. I tell him that I was in the ring with Michelle, who claimed to have some wrestling experience but it turned out that she didn't. And it's dangerous to be in the ring with someone who doesn't have any experience. So she kept falling on top of me, and falling, and couldn't roll back properly and cracked my ribs."

They asked Fakih if she'll continue to pursue a career in professional wrestling and she mentioned that she is very busy and plans to pursue a career in acting. The rigors of being a wrestling Miss USA and other stereotypes are discussed as well.

Diva leaving WWE

As noted earlier here on the website, a match pitting Michelle McCool against Layla this Sunday at Extreme Rules will carry a "loser leaves WWE" stipulation. As noted earlier, while the match was announced as a Loser Leaves SmackDown! Match at Tuesday's WWE SmackDown! taping, "WWE" is overdubbed in placed of "SmackDown!" during the telecast, which has already aired in Australia.

In an update on this, numerous WWE sources are now saying that Michelle McCool is legitimately leaving WWE, not taking time off as some speculated. Therefore, this Sunday will be her final match with WWE.

Would Vince McMahon ever buy TNA?

During WWE's shareholders meeting earlier this morning, a shareholder asked Vince McMahon about any interest in buying TNA Wrestling.

The shareholder said, "When are you going to buy that three letter company that's based in Nashville, Tennessee because they have the wrong people in charge of that company."

Vince responds, "Right."

The shareholder continued, "And please save the business from Dixie Carter. (Vince laughs) Stephanie has more brains than Dixie Carter has." Vince responded laughing, "I would hope." Lots of laughter and chatter took place after this statement was made by the shareholder, including Vince laughing some more at his table. Stephanie McMahon and Triple H were shown sitting nearby laughing as well.

The shareholder continued, "I think if you buy it now, there is a shot at fixing that company because I know you would put the right people in charge to fix that company." Vince, seeming to be at a loss for words, responded, "I don't know that they are for sale." The shareholder jumped in, "I'm sure if offer them something...I don't know. It is a 50/50 shot. I mean they know you are loaded with money." (crowd laughs) Vince continued, "Well...maybe." (Vince smiles, crowd continues to laugh)

PCWA results from 4-22 in Paragould, AR

The last show turned the PCWA world upside down. It was revealed that the new owner of the company was Melissa and she was bringing change to PCWA!!! She fired the commissioner and appointed The Enforcer as the new commissioner of PCWA. This did not set well with many wrestlers, especially LSD and Big Money. Big Money came out to appoint Cody Only and Idol Bane as the PCWA Tag Team Champions. Melissa would not allow this to happen and was promised, by Big Money, a "reign of terror" that Melissa would be responsible for. Big Money delivered on his promise when he sent LSD members Deadly Dale and Uncle Filthy out to destroy the Lethal Leprechaun. This brought out the Asylum " Psycho and Pappy", making their return to PCWA. A full war ensued, leading to the May 6th Main Event: LSD "Deadly Dale, Cody Only, Idol Bane and Uncle Filthy" VS The Asylum " Psycho and Pappy" and The Leprechauns " Lucky Leprechaun and Lethal Leprechaun"

Also at the last show, due to a mistaken cane shot by Rotten Randy, James Arnez won the Southern Heavyweight Title. An outraged Adrian Stratton, attacked Rotten Randy until Reggie Montgomery did a sneak attack and knocked out Adrian Stratton from behind. PCW results from 4-27 in Avondale Estates, GA

The crowd was down to 65 this time. The switch to a Wednesday night didn’t help.
Neither did the tornado warnings.

(1) Completely Awesome (TNT Champion Zack Daniels & Chad Silva) beat
Warhorses #2 & #88 (with Oscar Worthy) in a Tag Team Season match at 6 minutes.
PCW does a tag team deal similar to a baseball season with playoffs in the fall. This was OK for what it was. Awesome are top stars for the TNT promotion based in
Clayton. They’re reasonably sized guys. Daniels had attitude and good facials. Silva
either needs new tights or a new ass. Warhorses are the designated jobber team in
the tournament.

(2)“Spitfire” Thomas Johnson (with Jonathan Malick & Simon KROSS & EXTREME
ASSASSIN) beat Kyle Matthews in 11:11. Malick’s crew is collectively known Assassin’
s Guild. Kross is a big dude that walks around with a 4 X4 on his shoulder. Assassin
is a little guy. They’re all green. Malick did a long-winded promo came across like he was reading a script. Johnson is a legit British-trained wrestler. His inexperience shows through at times, but he’s got talent. He’s not a huge guy, but large enough to do big man power spots with Matthews, now billed as hailing from Omaha. They were having a perfectly fine match until a mistimed mess where Matthews moved causing Johnson to plummet off the top onto Assassin’s Guild, establishing them as a group of incompetents. The match lost momentum but they were able to get back on track with some nice near falls down the stretch. Matthew avoided Johnson’s shotgun forearm and applied the Hidaka Lock, then used a downward spiral maneuver for a near fall. Johnson then hit the shotgun forearm out of nowhere for the win.

(3) Brandon Kage was the winner of the Platinum Royal in 11:09. The bizarre thing
about this was ring announcer Grant Case standing calmly in the ring to introduce
additional entrants with the guys already in the ring battling all around him. The other participants included Washington Bullets, Rick Michaels, Curry Kid, (with Marty Freeman), Marco Polo, Mason (with the Witness), Chad Silva, Zach Daniels, Tommy Daniels, Assassin’s Guild. Bullets sole purpose was to injure Michaels and take him of the tag match to follow. Hmm…I thought they were babyfaces. Polo entered
wearing a pimp outfit with a girl dropping a trail of rose ahead of him. Funny stuff. Kage looks like a kid. He has really good energy, but badly needs to tighten up his flabby physique. It came down to Daniels (much improved of late) and Kage. Daniels got the “who are you” chant. Kage knocked Daniels off the top rope to become the last man standing. Platinum rules dictated that he faced Mason, the guy that scored the most eliminations. Finish saw Kage cause a collision between Mason and his Witness and score the pin with Shock & Awe (think Zig Zag).

Postmatch, Mason used a board on Kage’s leg. At least that was the idea. It was
painfully obvious that he wasn’t making contact. Kage sold it big by hopping to the
back on his good leg.

(4) Washington Bullets (Trey & Jon Williams) beat Exotic Ones (Rick Michaels &
Simon Sermon) in a Tag Team Season match at 7:10. Michaels came out with his
arm in bad shape. Bullets destroyed his injured arm for the entire match. After using his bum arm for a sacrificial lariat to get a tag, Michaels stubbornly re-involved himself in the match and fell victim to the Bullets signature backcracker finisher.

Chip Day cut a promo of the earnest, ultra-determined babyface variety to set up his
main event title challenge. Let’s just say it didn’t exactly going over like gangbusters with the jaded PCW crowd.

Profits of Doom said they would beat the hell out of anybody. Konkrete Gorillaz
answered the challenge. Before the match got underway, Nemesis cut a promo on
his former partner, Jay Fury, talking about how he was at home watching TV with his
mama. If Nemesis could wrestle as well as he talks, he would be a hall of famer.
That match takes place on June 1.

(5) Konkrete Gorillaz (Nemesis & Geter & Brian Blaze) vs. Profits of Doom (Dany Only
& Stryknyn & Andrew Pendleton III with Pandora) ended as a double count out in 14
minutes. This match had the best heat. Geter’s power and Nemesis’ vicious chops
made for an entertaining shine segment. They beat the holy hell out of Stryknyn. Blaze’s role was to take punishment. Smart move because his wrestling sucks. After not-so-gentle giant Geter no sold a superkick from Only, Pandora jumped on Geter’s back and the match disintegrated into a colossal schmozz. The memorable thing here was Geter stepping over the top rope with Pandora still on his back to continue his battle with Only. Profits did a stellar job of making Geter look invincibile.

(6) Aisha Sunshine (with Washington Bullets) beat Pandora (with Profits of Doom) via
DQ in 4:55. This was a war. They did a first blood match last month and these two
crazy bitches really went at it again. They’re not silicon injected Barbie dolls, they’re PCW wrestlers!” Bullets came out midway through to second Sunshine. Sunshine hit her finisher and Pendleton interfered for the DQ. Bullets got into it with Profits and Matthews joined Bullets to even the odds.

Trey challenged Profits to an eight person mixed tag on June 1. Platinum made it an
elimination match.

(7) Grotesque (with Miss Quinn & Rachel Tension) became the new PCW Champion
by defeating Vandal and Chip Day and PCW Champion Shane Marx in an elimination
match in 15:34. It was mostly Marx vs. Day, which was a very good thing. Marx is
underrated. Nothing flashy but totally solid in the ring. It’s his look that needs work. Day scored the shocking pinfall with Day of the Dead (double knees off the top) at 10:30. The crowd applauded Marx, who had been PCW”s first and only champion since March 26, 2010. Day decked Vandal with a tornado kick. Grotesque (a little guy with a gimmick vaguely resembling The Gimp in Pulp Fiction) kicked out of Day of the Dead at the count of one. Day hit the move again and Grotesque kicked out at two, goozled Day, and drilled him into the mat until he was unconscious. Vandal was also out cold at the hands of the evil Miss Quinn. Ref Duke Korey ruled that Grotesque was the winner. Some interesting booking here. Marx lost the title but has never been pinned by the new champion. Day pinned the champion yet didn’t get the title. Grotesque as champion is a farce. He’s no taller than Mad Dog Vachon, and it wouldn’t surprise me if Mad Dog could still beat him at age 81 and with only one leg. It will take all the smoke and mirrors Quinn and booker Platinum can muster to keep the title on him.

Afterward, Quinn proclaimed that she was unstoppable and promised to continue the
celebration at the Academy show Friday night. Marx returned to challenge Grotesque
to a rematch on June 1.

Karen Angle the victim of sexual harassment in TNA (?!)

The Honky Tonk Man claimed on his weekly podcast on Monday (audio available at that Karen Jarrett (formerly Angle) is the alleged victim of a sexual harassment lawsuit against TNA Wrestling.

The former WWE Intercontinental Champion says Karen was sexually harassed by TNA Wrestling president Dixie Carter's husband Serge Salinas.

He says a settlement was reached and that "part of the deal" involved Karen being given her job back with TNA Wrestling. He claims Carter was removed from television earlier this year due to the lawsuit.

The Honky Tonk Man tweeted Monday: "Anyone who missed HTM's announcement on TNA tonight. Karen Angle vs Dixie Carter's husband is the sexual harassment lawsuit going down! That's why Dixie is off TV and Karen is now back with the company as part of the settlement."

Please keep in mind that this is HTM we're talking about here. Some of this seems far fetched so who knows if it's true.

#1 Contender's Match - Sex Appeal vs. Aeroform
The war between these two factions has only intensified as the months have gone by, as Sex Appeal's vain and ego-centric attitudes clash with Aeroform's crowd-pleasing high-flying martial-arts hybrid. This week, Bobby Shields & the alleged "Mr. '80s" Nicki Valentino battle Louis Lyndon & Flip Kendrick in tag team action, with the winning team receiving a shot at PWO Tag Team Champions The Sons of Michigan. Which team will edge out the other now that there is championship gold on the horizon for both teams?

Jason Bane - New PWO Champion!
It took PWO's "Most Dominant Man" three-and-a-half years to combat bountys, hits, dumpsters, assaults, and everything else Aaron Maguire could throw at him before he finally rid his life of the obnoxious agent and captured what many feel rightfully should have been his all along, the PWO Title. This week, we hear Bane's first comments as champion! What's next for PWO's most intimidating athlete?

"Filipino Flex Factory" Shiima Xion vs. "One Man Militia" Matthew Justice
Two of the most athletic and well-conditioned athletes in PWO see one-on-one action. Shiima is looking to catapult himself into championship contention, as he's made it no secret that is his not-so-long-term goal in PWO. Justice is attempting to rebound after an assault perpetrated by Krimson & Jason Gory, who are at a new level of intensity and motivation. Which of these stars can guarantee the momentum they need going forward?

"Big Bear" Benjamin Boone vs. Ben Fruith
PWO's loveable loser Fruith may have escaped the onslaught of the Sons for the past several weeks, however it seems the PWO Tag Team Champions have realized the best way to handle an issue is to do it yourself. Boone has demanded a match with his former lackey, and The Homeless Handicapped Connection have accepted the challenge on Fruith's behalf. HHC treat Fruith as a true friend and believe he can finally stand up to his former abusive bosses. But with a lack of size or confidence, can Fruith survive a mauling from Michigan's "Big Bear"?

Krimson vs. Dan Arkham
"The Embodiment of Evil" has not been the same since his encounter with Raven, and some rumors are even suggesting that a backstage confrontation between Krimson & Raven that our cameras did NOT capture may have led to the end of Raven in PWO. That coupled with Krimson's attempted mid-ring hanging of Matthew Justice means this dark soul is more dangerous than ever. With Jason Gory by his side as his newest disciple, this duo have torn through PWO, with goals that are still not 100% clear. This week, Krimson steps into action once again and looks to continue to spread the misery and pain he knows all too well.

Statement On Last Week's Chaos
Last week saw a tremendous moment as Jason Bane beat Marion Fontaine to capture the PWO Title. However, following the bout a tasteless act occurred when Marion Fontaine crossed the line and had a physical altercation with personality Justin LaBar who was sitting in the front row. This week, we address this issue.

All this plus MORE!

Roddy Piper interview highlights

Source: Salon Magazine

Roddy Piper recently spoke to Salon Magazine about several topics, here are the highlights:
On The Wrestler: "They just didn't go deep enough. Darren Aronofsky and Mickey Rourke called me for the screening before it came in the box office. They had brought my daughter Ariel Teal, a wonderful actress, and myself down in the theater, and they sat us toward the back of the theater, and they show[ed] us the movie. Afterwards Darren Aronofsky and Mickey Rourke come out and go, "I hear Roddy Piper is here, is that true?" And they go, "So what did you think of the movie?" And I'm thinking in my head ... You guys didn't even come close to how deep you could have gone. The guy with the staple gun, he's just a real guy who goes around and does that. But [the movie] didn't show the traveling, and the day to day, and what went through their minds, and what people put them through. In my time they hated me so much, I've been stabbed three times. Last time an inch from the heart."

On The Presentation on Minorities In The 1980s: "I think we had 444 hostages at that time when the Iron Sheik was big. Did we take advantage of opportunity? Yes. When you break it down like that, that's a really good point. And my business is a nasty business. We do exploit what's going on at the time. Is it good for kids to see that? I've never been asked that. I think as you're growing up, you can look back at the Iron Sheik and you can make that calculation ... but at the time as a kid did you hate the Iron Sheik? Yeah, and you know what? We should have, because they had 444 of our people. So yeah, it does dial it up, for sure, and it does take advantage of [the news], but it makes you question, it makes you go to Mom and Dad and say, "Is the Iron Sheik really like that?" It's provocative from the point of "we're exploiting it, but we're exploiting it right in front of you."

On The Schedule: "I was going nine times a week. You get to a point where you don't really know who you are. You're running on high octane, and you'll take all comers in every arena because there was no police. Every arena you'd take on everybody that would come in the ring ... One time I fought 90 fights in 90 days in 90 different places around the world. I didn't even know who I was, about 45 or 50 in, they just kept pushing me, and that's when I really get into a lot of trouble. You walk into an arena with 10,000 people, and no security and everybody hating you, it takes some gumption."

Cody Rhodes interview highlights

Cody Rhodes recently spoke with, here are the highlights…

On Mysterio Dressing As Captain America For WM: For the most part, it was a complete surprise. I know he'd mentioned to some people that he had intentions of dressing up in comic book form this year and I had a lot of assumptions about who it could be, but I didn't know he'd be Cap or that the costume would be so close. From the wings on the hood to the way he entered, he gave it the full on Captain America—or maybe Captain Mexico, if you look at the treatment on his chest. I've seen Rey in many costumes over the years, so I think it's cool that all these years later I'm wrestling Captain America.

On His WM Ring Gear: Yeah, my jacket was supposed to be more Mister Sinister themed, but as the designer got to work on it, it became more "Assassin's Creed" themed, which was also fine by me. At one point there was this huge diamond in the waistband but it was too much, a bit too close to the Sinister vibe. We could never get the jewel to work, but the diamond is still there in rough leather form if you look closely.

On His Mask: Well, here's a little known fact, because in the world of entertainment things do get misconstrued: one thing that legitimately happened was my broken nose. It was a horrible thing that ended up being a great thing in terms of my career. I had an idea where I wanted to take it but I looked online and saw Rip Hamilton, from the Detroit Pistons. He had the exact mask I wanted—I even went to the same doctor who molded his and had it cast to my face, allowing you to still see my face without obscuring my features. It actually was much more clear when I started but WWE fogged it up a bit, which makes it look cool especially when the lights bounce off.
