EPW results from saturday night in Booneville, MS

It was a wild night at EPW!

During the National Anthem Bonecrusher & Cassanova Kid entered the building from the parking lot through the front door brawling with EPW Tag Team Champions Soultaker & Johnny Thunder. It took the EPW staff about 15 minutes to separate them and restore order. Bonecrusher & Cassanova Kid demanded an immediate street fight with Soultaker & Johnny Thunder for the belts. EPW Promoter Edith Poole ordered the match to take place later in the show.

Buzz Harley was then inducted into the EPW Wall of Fame.

Justin Rhodes & Chris Fontaine cheated their way to victory over Chazz Stone & Tysin Starr.

In a Street Fight, Bonecrusher & Cassanova Kid defeated Soultaker & Johnny Thunder to win the EPW Tag Team belts.

Buzz Harley came to the ring for his match with EPW Champion Chris Fontaine. After Fontaine had entered the ring, "The King of Nashville" Shane Williams came to the ring and challenged the winner to a match for the belt. Both men agreed. Buzz defeated Fontaine to win the EPW Championship. From behind Williams attacked Buzz, and demanded his match for the belt. So....

Shane Williams defeated Buzz Harley to win the EPW Championship.

Main event was a thumb tacks cage match, 24/7 (Kross & JR Mauler vs. Big daddy Neno w/Smooth and a mystery partner. The only way to win was for a member of the other team to be slammed or thrown into the thumb tacks - 500 of 'em - which were hanging in a bag on the wall of the cage. No pin falls, no count-outs, no escaping the cage, no DQ. Kross & JR out first, followed by Neno & Smooth. Smooth then introduced their partner, "Grandmaster Sexay" Brian Christopher. It was a wild match, well - not a match at all, rather it was a wild brawl. In the end, 24/7 gained the upper hand when they handcuffed Christopher to the rope. Neno ended up being slammed into the thumb tacks, resulting in a win for 24/7. After the match Smooth got involved and was also slammed into the thumb tacks.

Once again Hollywood Jimmy Blaylock was conspicuous by his absence. Again, nobody seemed to know why he was not there or where he was, or if he is ever coming back to EPW. I am beginning to think he is never coming back, which suits me just fine. Maybe he got some sense knocked into him several weeks ago and is going to just stay away....

Next EPW event is THIS Saturday night, 10-22-2011, at the EPW Arena on Highway 145 in Booneville, MS. Remember, you NEVER know who is going to show up or what is going to happen at EPW, so don't miss it! Bell time is 8:00 p.m.
