Former TNA Knockout arrested for DUI

Daffney (Shannon Spruill, 36) was pulled on a DUI charge a few weeks ago in
Florida. She was arrested at 4:16pm on July 19 a few miles her home in Plant City. A
breath test found more than twice the legal limit of alcohol in her system. The test
showed a 0.187 percent blood-alcohol level while the legal state limit is 0.08 percent.

She was charged with DUI with property damage and failure to provide proof of
insurance, according to police records. Michael Manna, better known in wrestling
circles as Stevie Richards, posted $500 bond. Court records listed property damage
estimated at $4,500.

She is scheduled for a disposition hearing on September 14.

Spruill has struggled with health issues in recent years--suffering multiple
concussions--the worst of which came last year during a TNA dark match tryout for a
newcomer. She is currently pursuing a worker’s compensation claim against TNA
Entertainment to help pay medical bills related to injuries she says she sustained in
the ring.
