EPW results from 6-4 in Booneville, MS

A big crowd was on hand at the EPW Arena in Booneville Saturday night for EPW wrestling action, and they were not disappointed.

Hollywood Jimmy Blaylock and the members of the Hollywood Clique came to the ring to run their mouths about various things. Hollywood called promoter Edith Poole to the ring, and called her a witch, among other things. Hollywood said Edith has people under a spell, and it has to stop. He brought out his special guest, who is allegedly a witch doctor from New Orleans. The "witch doctor" mixed up a special potion which supposedly contained, among other things, monkey and alligator piss, and threw it on Edith to break the spell she has on everyone at EPW. Nothing happened. Hollywood was pissed off and eventually went to the back.

"DC" David Cross defeated "The Future" Chris Styles to win the Northeast Mississippi Championship.

EPW Champion Buzz Harley defeated "Big daddy" Neno to retain.

Hollywood Jimmy Blaylock to the ring - called out Antoin Smooth. Hollywood told Smooth he had a special gift for him. Smooth said all he wants is the money Hollywood owes him. Hollywood said he would bring the money with him the next week. Smooth opened the gift, which was a watermelon. Smooth was pissed. Hollywood said, I thought you people liked watermelon." Smooth said it was a racial insult, which Hollywood denied. Smooth again demanded his money and was again promised his money at the next EPW show. Smooth said, "You better have it or else."

"Boogie Woogie Boy" Gary Valiant over El Sexio by DQ due to interference by Brody Hawk. Brody beat Valiant down, and, along with El Sexio & Kevin White, continued the beating long after the match was over. Valiant was carried from the ring on a backboard and taken for medical attention.

In a cage match, The Thugs (Bonecrusher & Cassanova Kid) w/Hollywood defeated 24/7 (Kross & JR Mauler) when Hollywood interfered. Hollywood Clique members beat 24/7 down. Both Kross & JR Mauler were helped to the back when order was finally restored.

Next EPW event is THIS Saturday night, 6-11-11, at the EPW Arena on Highway 178 in Booneville, MS. Bell time is 8:00 p.m.

Gary Valiant's medical report says he received a major stinger and will be out for several weeks. However, Valiant has contacted EPW and vowed to be in Booneville this Saturday night looking for revenge.

No word on the condition of Kross & JR Mauler has been received.
