Results from the May 15th All Pro Wrestling (APW-FL) show in Pensacola,FL

SHOW PHOTOS BY:
BRIAN REESE

On Sunday night,May the 14th
All Pro Wrestling
(APW-FL)
held another one of their
spectacular,action packed wrestling shows
at the APW West Pensacola Sportatorium
in Pensacola,FL,
a show which featured
the father/son combination of
WWE Hall Of Famer
"The Bullet" Bob Armstrong
and
the current All Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion,
former WWE/TNA Superstar
"The Road Dogg"
Jesse James!

At the beginning of the show
as they had done the previous night before,
all of the wrestlers and wrestling personalities
of All Pro Wrestling
gathered inside the ring
and all around outside the ring
to conduct a moment of silence
in the memory of
a very good friend of mine
who was a very prominent, strong supporter,
fan and advocate
for independent wrestling
along the immediate Gulf Coast area
"Buttonman" Bob Liddil,
who had passed away
on Monday night,May the 9th
in Pensacola,FL
at the age of 63.

For those like me and others
who knew him and knew him well,
Bob Liddil was a man of many great talents.
He was a wrestling historian,an author,
a poet and a magazine publisher.

Bob also ran gimmick tables
at many Gulf Coast independent wrestling shows
and was confined to a wheel chair
for the past several years
due to numerous health issues
and physical ailments,
issues and ailments
that never once deterred him
from what he loved
and doing what he loved to do.

Bob Liddil was a very active participant
in Gulf Coast independent wrestling
and the creator of the website
Gulf Coast Wrestling.com.

This was one of Bob work's,
a poem that he himself personally had written,
a tribute fitting to a wrestling fan
that has passed on
leaving our world to a much better place
and an even much higher purpose......

A Wrestling Fan In Heaven,
by Bob Liddil

"The arena's a little darker now,
then it was at the last show
and the workers are all walking out,
kinda sad and slow.
The bell is speaking softly
in a sad and mournful way
and the audience is on its feet,
a fan has passed away.

The bell tolls ten for wrestlers
when the final call is made
out of respect and out of love
a ringing homage paid
so many of them are now gone
to join that heavenly show
and now a much beloved fan
has a seat in the ringside row.

A true wrestling fan's in heaven now,
he's in that heavenly crowd
cheering for the great ones,
standing tall and walking proud
while those of us who are left behind
fondly remember him.
he's in heaven's wrestling arena,
working out in God's own gym.

So toll ye bell, for a fan today,
ring farewell and a fond goodbye.
he would want the show to go on,
so we'll cheer rather than cry.
He would want the babyface to win
and the cheating heel to pay
A true wrestling fan's
watching the show from heaven on this day."

Many other people
along the Gulf Coast area
will deeply and sorely miss him
for the loving passion and dedication
that he had for help spreading the word out
as well as him supporting
Gulf Coast independent wrestling.

I will personally miss this great man
and wonderful human being
for those aforementioned reasons;
also for the esteemed,tremendous,high praise
that he always had given me
for everything and all that I have done
and still continue to do
for professional wresting
I will also miss his wit,
his funny sense of humor,
his unselfishness,his gratitude,
the numerous,countless conversations
that we had about wrestling
and life in general,
his caring,loving kindness
and most importantly of all,
his cherished friendship
that I had been so deeply
blessed,honored and privileged
to have shared with him
a little over throughout
this past decade
and one whom I have been so very proud
to have been called a friend
a little over
throughout this past decade.

THE PANTHER

defeated
"The Ghetto Superstar"
TERRY ALLEN JONES

"The Brusierweight" Maze made his way
down the ringside area
to cause a distraction
to Terry Allen Jones
just as Jones
was about to defeat The Panther
to get the win.

Instead,that distraction by Maze
caused Terry Allen Jones
to lose his focus,his concentration

as The Panther rolled up Terry Allen Jones
to score the winning upset victory.
(6:26)

KID MATTHEWS

of retribution and revenge
as he threw Maze back into the ring

to roll-up Maze
in a modified version of a sunset flip

to score the winning victory.

the newly crowned
All Pro Wrestling Divas Champion
ZOEY MONROE

with her twin sister

by defeating the challenger
D'LUSCIOUS

albeit due to illegal means
via 1-2-3 pinfall
as D'Luscious fell victim once again
for a second consecuitive week in row
of another deja vu "switcheroo"
between The Magnificent Monroe Twins
as Zoey Monroe hid undeneath the ring
being replaced by her twin sister
Kylie Monroe

who illegally pinned D'Luscious
in a roll-up
plus grabbing a handful of her tights
to score the winning tawdry victory
on behalf of her twin sister
Zoey Monroe

Aeon Flexx covered
and hooked the leg of
the unconscious "Bullet" Bob Armstrong
to score the winning tawdry victory
for his team.
(8:09)
