On Sunday night,February the 27th,
the Gulf Coast based independent wrestling promotion
All Pro Wrestling
(APW)
moved their weekly Sunday night wrestling show
to their BRAND NEW building location
in Pensacola,FL.
APW had a fish fry luncheon
around 12 noon Central Standard Time
where fans who purchased that fish fry
also bought themselves a ticket
for the show that commenced
later in the evening.
APW had a special Meet-And-Greet Session
from 1 PM until 3 PM that afternoon
where wrestling fans had the opportunity
to meet most of their their favorite,
and perhaps even a few of their not-so favorite
APW wrestlers and wrestling personalities
as well as an opportunity to purchase merchandise
and other memorabilia from them.
As the show finally took place
around 7 PM Central Standard Time,
THERE WAS NOT A SEAT LEFT TO BE HAD!!!
The christening of the brand new APW building location
in Pensacola,FL
was an absolute total sell-out
that was near standing room only capacity!
In fact,the 7 PM belltime had to be delayed
approximately 10 minutes or so
in order for All Pro Wrestling staff members
to find,to scatter and to get more chairs into the building
to accommodate the paid wrestling fans
who that were standing
during that intermittent time.
All Pro Wrestling has been in existence
for the past couple of year or so,
and for the most part have withered many a storm
in the face of berating ridicule and immense scrutiny
from local wrestling purists,naysayers
and playa haters alike.
However the ridicule and scrutiny
that All Pro Wrestling has received
throughout the past couple of years
has not in the least
deterred their passion and determination
in giving the wrestling fans of the Gulf Coast area
a quality,action packed,entertaining wrestling show,
as was the case of their most recent sold-out show
at their brand new building locale
which captivated and enthralled
the wrestling audience;
one of the biggest crowds that APW has ever had
during their brief tenure.
MATCH #1:
The wrestling action that night
for All Pro Wrestling commenced
with an Over-The-Top-Rope Battle Royal
to determine the #1 contender
for the APW Heavyweight Championship,
which was won by
Ricky "The Rocket" Roberts.
Immediately following the Battle Royal,
Ricky "The Rocket" Roberts
was brazenly attacked by
the APW Heavyweight Champion
D.D.G. ("Drop Dead Gorgeous")
with his jumping cutter finisher that he calls
"DKO".
Moments later when order was finally restored,
APW Commissioner and founding APW co-owner
Tiny Tiswell told Ricky "The Rocket" Roberts
that he could cash in his opportunity
for the APW Heavyweight Championship
at any time of his choosing.
Ricky "The Rocket" Roberts
wasted no time whatsoever
in his decision
to go for the APW gold
as he wanted to cash in his opportunity
to face D.D.G
for the APW Heavyweight Championship
later in the evening
in the Main Event!
MATCH #2:
JASON STEELE
defeated
DEATH WISH
albeit due to controversial circumstances
via 1-2-3 pinfall
with a roll-up
while placing both of his feet
on the middle ring ropes
to score the tawdry victory.

In a very clean,scientific
one-on-one encounter,
"The Artist Of Astonishment"

defeated
MARCUS GIBBS
via 1-2-3 pinfall
with a superkick
to the jaw
and with an inside cradle/small package.

In a match
for the APW Divas Championship,
the APW Divas Champion
EDDIE G?!!!?
successfully retained his title
by defeating the challenger
and former APW Divas Champion
D'LUSCIOUS
via 1-2-3 pinfall
as Eddie G. finished off D'Luscious
with a running,leaping splash
in the corner
and with a running bulldog headlock.

In the closing moments of the match
while APW referee Murray Calloway
was distracted attempting to restore order
as "The Bullet" Bob Armstrong
put the proverbial lights out of Eddie G.
with a sleeper hold
outside the ring,
Miss Bella handed to D.D.G
his APW Heavyweight Championship belt
from outside the ring
and D.D.G.
KOd Rocky "The Rocket" Roberts
right between the eyes
with his APW Heavyweight Championship belt,
then covering him
in a lateral press
scoring the tawdry 1-2-3 victory.

After witnessing the travesty unfolding
firsthand of the controversial finish
from outside the ring,
former WWE/TNA Superstar
"The Road Dogg" Jesse James
immediately rushed towards the ring
to protest the fall of the match
to APW Referee Murray Calloway,
but the protest was to no avail.
However a couple of issues
were resolved in the process
after the fiasco
for the next All Pro Wrestling show
at the new APW Arena in Pensacola,FL
by APW Commissioner
Tiny Tiswell,
first with a re-match
for the APW Heavyweight Championship
as the APW Heavyweight Champion
D.D.G.
will be defending his title
versus the challenger

On a personal,final note
in MY honest opinion,
I thoroughly enjoyed the February 27th
All Pro Wrestling event
at their brand new digs
in Pensacola,FL,
a very thrilling,very exciting,quality wrestling show
which went above and beyond
mine or anyone else's expectations!
Plus not to mention,
the opportunity for me to see some of my old friends,
my colleagues,fellow workers
as well as a couple of noteworthy
wrestling luminaries in attendance!
Despite the fact
of the detriment of the ceiling
of the new APW Arena
being very low
which in turn might have caused a discerning disadvantage
for certain wrestlers who love to do high-flying,acrobatic
and aerial moves off of the top rope,
the consistent key and the common denominator overall
that should be emphasized
to make up for the aforementioned lamenting fact
that occurred throughout the entire evening
is what is on posted outside on their marquee.....
and that is
WRESTLING!!!
The wrestling shows at All Pro Wrestling
have slowly but surely
been raising the bar,
establishing themselves in gaining tremendous momentum
as they are and have been steadily climbing
with that aforementioned surge of sudden momentum,
especially with their brand new
building location intact.
With the quality of wrestling action and wrestling talent
that All Pro Wrestling has
and more than likely probably will be having
at their future shows down the road,
if the sold-out,near standing room only crowd
that they had at their February 27th show
was any indication,
then I am adamantly certain that
this will be a major,gigantic step in the right direction
for All Pro Wrestling
where their current and possible future wrestling fans
can and will expect more promising things
to come from APW
in the following weeks and months ahead!
