MLW presents: Match 225, Robbie Rage Vs. Mary E Monroe

Robbie Rage was scheduled for a match with Kristin Flake, but Kristin got injured in an earlier match, so Mary Elizabeth Monroe said, "I would like a match with the older veteran who I have heard so much about." Mary E looked at Robbie with a vengenace and they battled all over the M L W ring. There can only be one winner in a wrestling match. Did the vet or the beautiful lady from St. Louis win this match?

Melina speaks out about recent rumors

Melina posted a video entry today on YouTube entitled "I'm OK!!!" in response to fan concerns of her lack of tweeting as of late as well as recent online rumors. It was reported earlier this week that she has heat with company officials and was soundly defeated on Monday's RAW as a result.

"It's easier to make up stuff or to say things and to kind of believe in the the worst than to just accept things the way they are," she said in response to 'rumors going around'. "Things just happen the way they do and you just got to take it with stride. You know, you can't win them all and things can't be perfect and awesome all the time. But, you can make the situation the best that you can."

WWE developmental star quits over money issues

Adam Atherton, who performed as Rudy Parker in WWE's developmental promotion Florida Championship, apparently asked to be released from his contract earlier this month because he was denied a raise by organization officials and was therefore unable to afford to pay back his student loans.

UPDATE: Rudy Parker addressed these release rumors via his Facebook page: "Answering the question that seems to be on most people's mind...I RESIGNED b/c the WWE didn't give me the raise that i had been told about when i signed the contract. when i wasn't making enough to pay back my student loans, i had no choice but to resign."

OVW Press Release - Tryout camp announced

Press Release

Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) has announced it's next two-day tryout camp and seminar will take place in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday and Sunday, December 4th and 5th. This camp will provide those who attend the unprecedented opportunity to be seen and evaluated by officials from THREE different wrestling promotions, OVW, Ring of Honor (ROH) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)!

"Other camps give you the opportunity to be seen by decision-makers in one given promotion", said Danny Davis, OVW owner and founder. "This one can open doors for attendees in up to three different companies."
The training camp begins on Saturday, December 4 at 11:00AM at OVW's headquarters, the Davis Arena in Louisville. Campers will be given the opportunity to do sample TV promos overseen by ROH on HDNet Executive Producer and current OVW matchmaker Jim Cornette, then receive in-ring instruction from former WWE superstars and current OVW trainers Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore and Mike Mondo, along with pro wrestling legend "Hustler" Rip Rogers and various OVW stars. The day will conclude with exhibition matches where all campers will have the opportunity to show their talents in the ring.

Sunday, December 5 will begin again at 11:00AM with more wrestling drills and in-ring instruction, and conclude with an in-person appearance from 3 - 6PM by WWE Executive Vice-President of Talent Relations John Laurinitis, who will evaluate the camp's standouts in action.

"I've participated in two ROH camps and one OVW camp so far this year." said Cornette. "Of those, a number of athletes have been invited to OVW, a few have signed deals with ROH, and several more have been booked for live events or TV tapings to be evaluated further. It's a great opportunity for the campers to be seen, as well as for the promotions to see and spend a few days with the best young athletes out there."

If you feel you have what it takes to be a star in OVW, ROH or even WWE, this camp is open to all current pros regardless of experience level. The registration fee is $150, and includes both days of activities as well as lunch for each camper. Transportation to and from the Arena and lodging while in Louisville is the responsibility of the attendee. To enroll, fill out the application form at www.ovwrestling.com and submit it with the registration fee no later than Wednesday, November 24th.

Please note that ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE LICENSED by the Kentucky Boxing and Wrestling Authority---information on the KBWA's regulations and license application forms can be found at kbwa.ky.gov.

In the last 17 years, Ohio Valley Wrestling has trained and developed over 130 stars that have gone on to success in WWE, TNA, ROH and Japan. Will YOU be next?

Hardy misses TNA tapings

TNA Champion Jeff Hardy was not at either of the Impact TV tapings this week on Monday and Tuesday in Orlando. These were the final two TV tapings before the Turning Point PPV on November 7. Hardy's legal case was scheduled for October 25 and the belief is that he missed the tapings because of it. TNA officials must feel confident about Hardy's legal situation given the direction that went in this month in putting the title on him.
