to the JDL Auctions House Building
in McHenry,MS
with its unbelievable,amazing and spectacular show
"
DOUBLE JEOPARDY"
where once again there were plenty of unexpected surprises as well as some unforgettable,stunning moments that captivated and enthralled
the numerous Xtreme Impact Wrestling fans in the audience!
As the XIW "DOUBLE JEOPARDY" show commenced,
a couple of announcements were made
by the debonair ring announcer extraordinaire
and the General Manager of Xtreme Impact Wrestling,
YOURS TRULY"
The PIMP-Tacular"
"
Superfly B-Smoove"
BRIAN REESE.
Mr. Reese said that Micah Taylor and the love of his life,
"The Hawaiian Princess" Tracy Taylor
were originally scheduled to be at the
April 24th XIW "Double Jeopardy" event.
Sadly,
the two former Developmental Talents
from World Wrestling Entertainment
were unable to be at the April 24th XIW "Double Jeopardy" event
due to transportation problems that they had
as well as the deadly,devastating,horrendous,inclement weather
that had plagued most of the central and Southeastern portions
of the United States
about 12-24 hours prior to the pending XIW show.
However,the XIW GM assured the XIW wrestling fans in McHenry,MS
that were in attendance that evening
that both Micah and Tracy Taylor
will be at the next XIW event that will be taking place
in McHenry,MS on Friday night,May the 14th.
Another issue that was addressed that night
was the involvement of the Commissioner
of Xtreme Impact Wrestling
"The Gangster Of Destruction (G.O.D.)"
Adrian Whisper
during an uncivilized altercation
that he had with the XIW Heavyweight Champion
"The Masked Marauding Menace" Minotaur
which occurred after the one-on-one Main Event Match
for the XIW Pure Wrestling Championship
between the champion
"The 21st Century" Jason Rose
vs.
the challenger
"The Underground Assassin" John Saxon
at the XIW "ANYTHING Can Happen" event
in McHenry,MS back on March the 26th.
Due to the actions of the XIW Commissioner,
a meeting was conducted by the Board Of Directors
of Xtreme Impact Wrestling
where it was determined that if Adrian Whisper;
whom is retired being an active competitor of the squared circle
after undergoing successful lower lumbar fusion back surgery
back in December of last year,
at any time gets physically involved
with any wrestler that is on the XIW roster,
he will be removed as the acting Commissioner of Xtreme Impact Wrestling.
Another ruling was made during the aforementioned meeting
by the XIW Board Of Directors
that if any wrestler on the XIW roster
at any time physically puts their hands upon
XIW Commissioner Adrian Whisper
in any way,shape,form or fashion,
then they will immediately be fired on the spot
from Xtreme Impact Wrestling.
With that being said,
let's get to the results from the April 24th
XIW "DOUBLE JEOPARDY" show in McHenry,MS.....
MATCH #1:
In the opening bout between two wrestlers
whom that were both making their XIW debut,
the match between
ROOSTER HAYNES
and
"
Ragin'"
RIC MORGAN
ended in a 10 minute time limit draw.
After the match,
making their way down the aisle
were the XIW Pure Wrestling Champion
"The 21st Century Playboy"
Jason Rose
along with his allies
as well as his two partners in crime,
the XIW Middleweight Champion
"The Irish Hand Grenade"
Irish Mike McConnaughey
and the XIW Heavyweight Champion
"The Masked Marauding Menace"
Minotaur.
Jason Rose voiced his discerning displeasure on the microphone
about being subjected to witness the supposedly pathetic and lackluster efforts by Rooster Haynes and "Ragin'" Ric Morgan
during their 10 minute one-on-one encounter.
The XIW Pure Wrestling Champion decided to bring down
to the ring a wrestler of his very own choosing
Doug Doyle.
However when it appeared on the surface
to be an impromptu Triple Threat Match,
little did Doug Doyle,Rooster Haynes nor Ric Morgan realize
was that the dastardly Jason Rose had an ulterior motive
inside his devious mind because in actuality
the three aforementioned wrestlers
were going to face Minotaur in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match
to determine if any or all of those 3 wrestlers
could last 10 minutes inside the squared circle
with the XIW Heavyweight Champion.
WHICH LED TO.....
MATCH #2:
In the 10 Minute Challenge
3-on-1 Handicap Match,
the XIW Heavyweight Champion
"
The Masked Marauding Menace"
MINOTAUR
emerged victorious
by defeating and demolishing
ROOSTER HAYNES,
"
Ragin'"
RIC MORGAN
and
DUTCH DOYLE
in approximately 6 and 1/2 minutes as
Minotaur finished off Doug Doyle
with a sidewalk slam
and his finishing corner slingshot splash
called "The Bullgod Bomb"
to score the 1-2-3 victory.
As Jason Rose and Irish Mike McConnaughey convened
inside the ring to celebrate Minotaur's dominating,
victorious triumph,
out comes XIW Commissioner
"The Gangster Of Destruction"
Adrian Whisper
who had a surprise or two in store for both
Irish Mike McConnaughey and Jason Rose
as both he and XIW General Manager Brian Reese
drew names out from a hat to determine
the #1 Contenders for the XIW Middleweight Championship
and the XIW Pure Wrestling Championship,
not to mention the naming of a possible,eventual #1 Contender
for Minotaur's XIW Heavyweight Championship.
The name of the wrestler that was drawn out from the hat
that was deemed as the #1 Contender
for Irish Mike McConnaughey's
XIW Middleweight Championship
was
The Yellow Hornet.
The other name of the other wrestler that was drawn out from the hat
that was deemed as the #1 Contender
for Jason Rose's XIW Pure Wrestling Championship
was
"The Underground Assassin"
John Saxon.
The XIW Commissioner also had set up a couple of
"Double Jeopardy" matches to take place that evening;
without releasing any further information as to to which of the 4
aforementioned wrestlers
(Rose,Hornet,McConnaughey and Saxon)
will be wrestling against who.
XIW Commissioner Adrian Whisper also placed a stipulation
in the "Double Jeopardy" matches
that if either Jason Rose or Irish Mike McConnaughey
attempted to pull a swerve during their match
either by getting counted out of the ring
or by getting themselves disqualified
as a ways and means to retain their respective championship belts,
then they would lose their championship belt
to whomever the opposing opposition that they would face.
MATCH #3:
In a fiercely fought,highly competitive one-on-one match-up,

The Underground Assassin"
JOHN SAXONwith his manager
IRRESISTIBLE DANIELLEat ringside
defeated
THE YELLOW HORNET
via 1-2-3 pinfall
as John Saxon finished off The Yellow Hornet
with a double knee backbreaker
to score the 1-2-3 victory.
With the win over The Yellow Hornet,
John Saxon would receive a championship title shot opportunity
in the Main Event later in the evening
against the winner of the following,ensuing match.....
MATCH #4:
In a Champion vs. Champion,Title vs. Title Match
for both the XIW Middleweight Championship
and the XIW Pure Wrestling Championship,
a new XIW Pure Wrestling Champion was crowned
as the XIW Middleweight Champion

ended the 11 month and 1 day title reign
of the former XIW Pure Wrestling Champion
"
The 21st Century Playboy"
JASON ROSEvia disqualification.
Near the closing moments of the match,
Irish Mike McConnaughey and Jason Rose
wrestlers whom both have ornery,despicable,shady and notorious reputations
that on occasion will do absolutely whatever it takes to win matches
both simultaneously pulled out a steel chain
out from inside of their wrestling trunks
unbeknownst to the view of XIW referee Ron DeMartini
in attempts to KO the other wrestler
to steal a tawdry 1-2-3 win.
With the steel chain wrapped around his right hand,
Irish Mike McConnaughey swung at Jason Rose,
but Rose ducked out of the way,
then Rose caught McConnaughey on the rebound
by knocking him out with the steel chain that was wrapped around Rose's right hand.
As Jason Rose covered the unconscious
Irish Mike McConnaughey in a lateral press
to score the illegal 1-2-3 pin,
XIW referee Rob DeMartini caught Jason Rose red handed with
the steel chain wrapped around his right hand,
thus disqualifying him
and awarding the match
and the XIW Pure Wrestling
Championship
to the new XIW Pure Wrestling Champion,
"The Irish Hand Grenade"
Irish Mike McConnaughey.
MATCH #5:
In the Semi Main Event Match,
"
Wrestling Royalty"
NATHAN CROWN
defeated
"
The Wiggins Ax Murderer"

The Hardliner"
WADE GARRETT 
via 1-2-3 pinfall
albeit due to controversial circumstances
as Nathan Crown rolled up Wade Garrett
in a small package,
plus pulling a handful of Garrett's tights
unbeknownst to the peripheral view
of XIW Referee Rob DeMartini
to score the tawdry 1-2-3 victory.
After the match,
Wade Garrett was sitting in a corner
with an unemotional,hypnotic,haunting,dazed look
on his face.
Since making his return to Xtreme Impact Wrestling
nearly 4 months ago,
Wade Garrett has yet to win a match!
It took the Commissioner of Xtreme Impact Wrestling
"The Gangster Of Destruction" Adrian Whisper
as well as several of the admiring,supporting,
enthusiastic XIW fans in the audience
to somewhat help Wade Garrett
snap out of his crazed,disillusioned trance
and reassuring the hometown hero
and Wiggins,MS native that he will live to fight another day
in hopes that Wade Garrett will finally get that elusive victory.
MATCH #6:
In the "Double Jeopardy"
Main Event Match
for both the XIW Middleweight Championship
and the XIW Pure Wrestling Championship,
a new XIW Middleweight Champion
ANDa new XIW Pure Wrestling Champion was crowned

abruptly ended the very short,brief title reign
of the former double championship title holder

sneaked his way down to ringside
to be in the corner of
Irish Mike McConnaughey
via 1-2-3 pinfall
as John Saxon finished off Irish Mike McConnaughey
with a cradle DDT
to score the 1-2-3 victory.
Immediately following the match,
Jason Rose attacked John Saxon from behind.
However,John Saxon retaliated
as he fought back unloading against his ambushing perpetrator.
That was until Irish Mike McConnaughey recuperated
as both he and Jason Rose
began to do a 2-on-1
beatdown upon John Saxon.
Moments later,
The Yellow Hornet ran hastily down to the ring
to the aid of John Saxon and to help even the odds.
However,the numbers game would swing back
in the unruly favor of the insidious allied opposition
as the XIW Heavyweight Champion
Minotaur made his monstrous presence known and felt
upon both John Saxon.....
.....and The Yellow Hornet
as Irresistible Danielle
had to helplessly watch all of the catastrophic,
destructive calamity unfold before her very eyes
that were almost engulfed in streaming tears
from outside the ring.
Order was mercifully finally restored,
but not before the collateral damage
that was orchestrated by Jason Rose,Irish Mike McConnaughey
and the XIW Heavyweight Champion Minotaur
had already been done.
Despite the abomination that occurred inside the ring,
it in no means deterred the fact that
"The Underground Assassin" John Saxon
won the "Double Jeopardy" Main Event Match
as well as winning both the XIW Middleweight Championship
and the XIW Pure Wrestling Championship
as XIW Commissioner Adrian Whisper presented
John Saxon with both of the championship belts
that he earned and won.
In spite of his triumphant,achieving accomplishment,
John Saxon is not and will not be satiated
because he has one thing and only one thing on his mind.....
REVENGE!!!
As a matter of fact,
John Saxon was even willing to relinquish
both of the championship belts
that he had just won......
just for him to have his opportunity
to settle the score by getting his hands on
the XIW Heavyweight Champion,
"The Masked Marauding Menace" Minotaur!
