Saturday Night, January 29, in Tyler, Texas, the Lone Star Event Center will host Texas Championship Wrestling's debut event. Picking up where defunct wrestling promotion Full Effect Wrestling left off, TCW has signed several huge Texas wrestling personalities to the show including wrestling star and reigning TWA TV Champion "Bad Company" Pat Tanaka, Doink the Clown, Texas Wrestling Champion Byron Wilcott (formerly Lennox McEnroe of Florida Championship Wrestling), The Big Time Playa's, Jacob Kilgore, as well as the Star Students of the Texas Wrestling Academy. WOW, ain't there already a TCW in Texas? As a matter of fact they run in Austin, Tx.! Why would you call your company the same call letters as another company that is up and running?
TCW in Austin is Total Championship Wrestling..this is Texas Championship Wrestling. and I doubt the two are even comparable. while TCW in Tyler has a roster full of guys with WWE experience and Austin has backyarders...
