SWA presents Eric Brown Memorial X Thanksgiving Night in Lafayette, TN

Those who have been on this board for many years know that this is the time of year that the SWA puts on its biggest show of the year, The Eric Brown Memorial. This will be the 10th annual event where we remember not just Eric but all the family we have lost over the years. All the proceeds go to Eric's son, little Eric, who his dad never had the chance to meet. Eric passed away in a car accident October 29th, 2001, and the SWA had its first Eric Brown Memorial that same year on Thanksgiving. We encourage anyone who has not witnessed one of these cards to come on out and be a part of something special. We will be deep frying turkeys for anyone who buys a ticket, and putting on one heck of a wrestling card....

In the opening bout
Bull Rope Match
David Towe vs. Impressive Anthony Wayne
Anthony Wayne took the rookie out several weeks ago, and David made his return at the 10/30/2010 show when Anthony challenged the rookie to settle the score once and for all.

S.W.A. Heavyweight Championship
Champion Rockhead vs. Desperado
There is over 50 years of experience between these two big men, and after Desperado stole Rockheads Championship belt, Rockhead is coming into E.B.X. looking at getting back what is rightfully his the S.W.A. Championship Belt.

Grudge Match
Loose Cannon vs. Jay Ruthless
This past Saturday Ruthless made it clear he is wanting to make his mark on the S.W.A., and he attacked Cannon from behind to get his attention. With one of the S.W.A.'s Cornerstones not taking kindly to the underhanded deeds of Mr. Ruthless, Loose Cannon said he is going to settle this at the Eric Brown Memorial, and Jay Ruthless will not be making a name for himself Thanksgiving Night.

S.W.A. Tag Team Championship
Challengers Shooting Sensation (Matt and Nathan Star) vs. Champions The Devils Outcast (Black Thorn and Brimestone with The Beast in their corner)
The new comers Matt and Nathan Star, twin brothers with a hot streak ever sense they debuted, having victories over veterans like the recently retired Gangster, the Heavyweight #1 Contender Desperado, and Buddy Savage, will have their hands full with the new Tag Team Champions. This past Saturday the Devils Outcast cheated their way to victory over the twins, and this will be the Star Twins rematch for the Gold.

Semi-Main Event
No Holds Barred Match
The Tin Man Tim Scruggs vs. Shane Steel
There is a memorial picture that the S.W.A. has had at its shows since the Eric Brown Memorial IV. It has Tim Scruggs father Red Scruggs who passed away with cancer in 2002, and Eric Brown, and Eric's Dad Steve, who passed away, along with Commissioner George. Shane Steel did the unthinkable and stole this picture. Tim Scruggs lost every ounce of composure and went out to destroy Shane Steel. It took the entire Locker Room, Security, and even some of Macon County's finest to hold the Tin Man back. Tim demanded the picture be returned this past Saturday before the show began. Well Shane returned "a" picture, but it was a picture of himself. Even with a restraining order, The Tin Man attacked Shane Steel, shattering the picture over Shane's head, and being arrested in the process. Commissioner Tim Minor signed a match where Tim can settle the score and hopefully get the true picture back on Thanksgiving Night.

Main Event
60 Minute Iron Man Tribute Match
S.W.A. United States Championship
Champion Matt Korbaine defends against American Psycho
American Psycho and Matt Korbaine are two of the biggest fan favorites in the S.W.A. This was not the case 7 months ago at the Commissioner George Ray Memorial that saw these two square off for the first time in the S.W.A. in a last man standing match. American Psycho vowed to end Matt Korbaines career that night, but Matt ended up being the last man standing. How much can change in 7 months. American Psycho almost having his career ended several weeks ago had his life flash before his eyes so to speak. And he is now set on a mission to make the most out of the rest of his time in the squared circle. Psycho challenged Matt to a rematch in what he wanted called a pure wrestling match, no cheating or underhanded deeds, just toe to toe, one on one wrestling. Old School, New School all wrapped into one historic match. Matt accepted under one condition - that they have an iron man match, which has never been done in the S.W.A. No excuses, the better man will walk out, and both will be able to leave with their heads held high as they are laying it all on the line. Matt and Psycho are good friends, but they will be putting that all on the side when they put on what is sure to be a wrestling clinic for all of the S.W.A. and for Eric's entire family.

Please come out and support this very worthy cause, and come enjoy some tender fried turkey. If you have not been a part of this show, you are certainly missing out on something special. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at wes@pctcast.net.

The show is Thanksgiving Night. Bell Time is 8:00, and doors open at 7:00, with a Fried Turkey plate with purchase of ticket. It will be held at the Lafayette National Guard Armory. Tickets are $7.00.

Hope to see you there....
