No WWE trip to Iraq this year

There was said to be a "big relief" among WWE talent at the Smackdown tapings last night when word made the rounds that there would be no trip to Iraq this year for the annual "Tribute to the Troops" event reports PWInsider. While we were told the wrestlers don't mind the actual work they do during the trip, the flight on the cargo plane with the ring is described as one of the most dreaded trips of the year. There was said to be lots of excitement about holding a "Tribute to the Troops" show domestically.

I understand.. I did two tours in that hizzell hole. It still is not safe and I do appreciate that WWE has done what they have done in the past
