Rickey announced that Jeremy Wood was an organ donor and since his passing, he has saved three lives.
Opening Match-The Danger Zone (Hot Rod John Ellison & "Dangerous" David Cox) vs Sexy Rex & Lee Michaels-Referee Spider-Prior to the match, David Cox stated that Danger Zone is the most dangerous tag-team in the ASWF. Rickey Rowland and Double J called the action. Double J noted that Sexy Rex is always shaking his moneymaker. Rex and Michaels targeted Hot Rod's arm. Intense staredown between Hot Rod and Sexy Rex. Danger Zone wore down Sexy Rex. All of the sudden, Johnny Hawk interfered and started a malicious attack on Lee Michaels. With Michaels out of the picture, Danger Zone put away Sexy Rex with a superkick/takedown combo. Your winners, Danger Zone, Hot Rod John Ellison & "Dangerous" David Cox!
ASWF thanked The Newport Independent Newspaper.
The Hollywood Clique consisting of "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock, The ASWF Tag-Team Champions CCR "Crazed Country Rebels" Demon X & Wild Bill and "Hollywood" Jimmy's personal hairdresser, Bruce "The Juice" made their way to the ring. "Hollywood" introduced his hairdresser saying he does his hair every morning. Bruce "The Juice" was rockin' a bright yellow t-shirt with Tootsie Pops that read: Love is 4 Suckers. He also had a blowpop, some hairspray, a pink brush and a very feminine walk going for him. The fans got a kick out of this and was laughing at him constantly. They were talking bad about "The Human Highlight Reel" Austin Lane. Austin Lane walked to the ring. "Hollywood" Jimmy stated how he used to manage Austin during their time in DCW where he wrestled the likes of Sonny Siaki, Kevin Nash, Elix Skipper, AJ Styles and a host of others. "Hollywood" Jimmy recommended that Austin let his hairdresser fix his hair. Bruce recommended that Austin needed a little conditioner. Austin responded by saying he thought his hair looks fine, as he snapped his fingers! Fans chanted, "Austin Lane!" The crowd inside The Valiant Arena was so loud, it was hard to make out what was being said during the mic spill. "Hollywood" Jimmy took credit for all of Austin's success stating that it was him that took Austin to the top and how Austin Lane has done nothing, but disrespect him, time and time again as he tapped him in his chest. "Hollywood" Jimmy demanded that Austin show him respect inside and outside of the ring. Austin advised "Hollywood" to not touch him, again. Demon X and Wild Bill attacked Austin Lane. Buff ran in to save Austin. "Hollywood" Jimmy flipped out, throwing the ringbell, a water bottle and a trash can into the ring. Buff threw the trash can back at "Hollywood" Jimmy, who was standing beside the announce table.
ASWF Commissioner and Money Inc. Representative T-
Bone Terrence Ward came out, announcing that later there would be a Double Main Event with ASWF Heavyweight Champion Chris Stryker going one-on-one with the X-Division Champion Mike Anthony.
T-Bone told "Hollywood" Jimmy that they don't see eye-to-eye. T-Bone added that he don't like collard greens or watermelons. T-Bone made the match for later that will see Buff and Austin Lane battling CCR. "Hollywood" Jimmy asked T-Bone one question by whispering in his ear. T-Bone said yes, so "Hollywood" Jimmy warned Buff and Austin that they have made the biggest mistake of their lives as he walked to the back, chanting, "Mississippi!"
ASWF European Champion "White Chocolate" Athena Eclipse walked to the ring, accompanied by her fellow Money Inc. members The Enforcer and T-Bone Terrence Ward. Double J informed Athena that she would be putting the belt on the line against Loose Cannon.
2nd Match-ASWF European Championship-"White Chocolate" Athena Eclipse defended against Loose Cannon-Referee Jimmy Rhodes-Cannon was jumped by Money Inc's Reggie Montgomery before the match could get started while T-Bone and The Enforcer distracted the official. Once Cannon made it to his feet, the contest began. Athena told Referee Jimmy Rhodes to hold her back. T-Bone said it was a Bad Call. Loose Cannon chased Athena in circles. Finally, Cannon decided to give Athena a free leg drop, but when she went for it Cannon moved. Cannon grabbed Athena. Athena nailed Cannon with a low blow and Rik Burton ran in hitting Cannon with a big boot. Athena made the cover and retained her title. Your winner and still ASWF European Champion, "White Chocolate" Athena Eclipse! Following the match, Money Inc. celebrated Athena's big victory.
Money Inc. back out with T-Bone Terrence Ward, ASWF European Champion "White Chocolate" Athena Eclipse, The Enforcer, Rik Burton and Reggie Montgomery. Montgomery was throwing crackers into the crowd. This tripped me out! How lucky am I to have witnessed Sammy Hall throwing bananas into the crowd at Grenada and Reggie Montgomery throwing crackers into the crowd at Tuckerman! Clearly the crackers got over more. An old lady done pulled out her false teeth trying to get The Enforcer. Montgomery said he heard what Danger Zone said earlier about being the baddest tag-team in the ASWF. Money Inc. begged to differ. Danger Zone came back out which led to an impromptu match.
3rd Match-Money Inc's team of Reggie Montgomery & "Slick" Rik Burton, accompanied by The Enforcer, T-Bone and Athena Eclipse vs The Danger Zone (Hot Rod John Ellison & "Dangerous" David Cox)-Rik Burton and David Cox began the match by having a slugfest. Hot Rod and David Cox isolated Reggie Montgomery by trapping him in their corner. The Enforcer poured water on Double J. David Cox was thrown to the floor. Burton followed with an axehandle. While Cox was out on the floor, The Enforcer got in some shots while Montgomery went at Hot Rod. Referee Spider called for the bell, resulting in a double disqualification. Montgomery sent Hot Rod into a lethal big boot from Burton. Afterwards, Reggie Montgomery grabbed the mic saying it looks like they won.
Double J got the crowd hyped up.
Former WCW Superstar Buff "The Stuff" Bagwell came out to the ring in his signature top hat to take polaroids in the ring for $10 which included receiving a free 8x10. "The Human Highlight Reel" Austin Lane was also selling shirts for $15 with all the proceeds going to the family of Jeremy Wood.
Rickey Rowland asked Miss Betty Butler to get in the ring and announced that she had a birthday earlier in the week. Rickey presented Miss Betty with her birthday present, which was Buff. Miss Betty Butler is a sweetheart and one of the nicest ladies you'll ever meet. GOOD CALL
Double J thanked all their fine sponsors.
Rickey reminded everyone that on Saturday, October 2nd, ASWF Wrestling will be at ROCKTOBERFEST in Batesville, Arkansas. Bell Time will be 5:00 and will feature a HUGE CARD that will include: The Nasty Boys Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags, "The Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart, Psycho Sid Vicious, Wild Bill , Demon X, Billy Gunn "The New Age Outlaw", Austin Lane, The Steiner Brothers ( Rick and Scott) Buff "The Stuff" Bagwell, Hollywood Jimmy, Rikishi, "Dirty" Dutch Mantel, "The Birdman" Koko B Ware, and many many more!!! Double J asked the crowd, "Are you ready for some more ASWF action here at the Valiant Arena?"
4th Match-Johnny Hawk battled Lee Michaels after what transpired earlier in the night-Referee Jimmy Rhodes-Hawk dominated Michaels in the beginning as Michaels wasn't 100% after the attack. However, the fans rallied behind Michaels. Michaels fought back, hitting Hawk with a stinger splash in the corner. Johnny Hawk would bring Lee's offense to an abrupt stop by leveling him with a big time shoulder block. Hawk would follow with a scoop slam. Michaels would try again to get something going, but was again shut down. Johnny Hawk taunted as he had things well under control. Hawk used some sort of foreign object to continue his ruthless onslaught on Michaels. Lee Michaels managed to catch Johnny Hawk off guard and get the three count. Your winner, Lee Michaels! Johnny Hawk wasn't happy after the match as Michaels got some retribution.
5th Match-Special Champion vs Champion Match-ASWF Heavyweight Champion "The Stryking Image" Chris Stryker vs ASWF X-Division Champion Mike Anthony-Referee Spider-Two dominant forces collided in this one as key members from Money Inc. and The Resolution were about to mix it up. First there was a staredown in the middle of the ring between the two sides with The Resolution's Mike Anthony, Ro Show and Jon Allen went face-to-face with Money Inc's Chris Stryker, T-Bone Terrence Ward, Athena Eclipse, The Enforcer, Rik Burton and Reggie Montgomery. Mike Anthony introduced "The Premiere" Jon Allen and "The Muscle" Ro Show saying they are "The Greatest Show on Earth". Anthony added that he is the greatest ASWF X-Division Champion in ASWF history and collectively they are known as The Resolution. Stryker asked, "The resolution to what? The crowd at the food stamp line?" Quick change of plans as a challenge was made so the match went from being a non-title match to both titles being on the line. When the match started, Anthony planted Stryker with a wicked superkick to send the heavyweight champ to the mat. Stryker would fire back with a body slam. Anthony caught Stryker with an innovative monkey flip/jawbreaker. There was a cool spot with both men knocking the opposing sides off the apron. Referee Spider ended up sending both Money Inc. and The Resolution to the back. Big suplex by Anthony on Stryker with Stryker rolling out of the ring asking, "How did you do that?" Both men was thinking the same thing as they poked each other in the eyes. Anthony caught Stryker coming back into the ring with the Orton ddt off the ropes. Stryker connected with a beautiful vertical suplex for a two count. Sleeper hold applied by Stryker. Anthony managed to break loose with a chinbuster that sent Stryker to the floor. Action spilled over the guardrail. Anthony threw Stryker's head into the ringsteps. Stryker whipped Anthony into the corner with a vengeance. Anthony locked in a sleeper hold on Stryker, slowing down the big man. However, Stryker was able to pick up Anthony, bringing him crashing to the canvas in order to break the hold. Anthony connected with another superkick and followed with an elbow drop from the top-rope to get a two count. Anthony attempted the Zig Zag, but Stryker shoved him away with his brute strength. Stryker went outside the ring and picked up both belts, bringing them inside the ring. Referee Spider took the X-Division belt away from Stryker and went to place it back on the announce table. Whenever Referee Spider looked back in the ring all he saw was Anthony holding the Heavyweight Championship and Stryker laying on the mat. Stryker had actually tossed the belt to Anthony and flopped. Your winner by disqualification, The ASWF Heavyweight Champion, Chris Stryker! Since it was a disqualification, both men retained their respected titles.
Following the match, Mike Anthony said, "So what! I got outsmarted. Whoopity doo!" Anthony and The Resolution issued a challenge to the announce team of Rickey Rowland and Double J. Rickey Rowland, who was jumped last week at the hands of The Resolution, told him that his hospital bill is coming out of his paycheck. Anthony said he'll spend it on his old lady. Rickey responded, "You will probley spend it at McDonald's on a happy meal!"
Commissioner T-Bone Terrence Ward made his way to the ring as we were getting ready for the HUGE Main Event of the evening. T-Bone informed Referee Jimmy Rhodes that his services would not be needed in this next match. T-Bone announced that he and "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock had came to an agreement for this match. T-Bone introduced The Hollywood Clique's very own special guest referee, who is #1 in the state of Mississippi, Referee JC Henderson. As "Hollywood" Jimmy, The ASWF Tag-Team Champions CCR, Demon X & Wild Bill and "Hollywood" Jimmy's personal hairdresser Bruce "The Juice" made their way to the ring the crowd was going nuts. One fan squirted "Hollywood" Jimmy with a baby bottle. Then, "Hollywood" Jimmy got into an entertaining sword fight with an elderly gentleman, as they both went at it with their canes. "Hollywood" Jimmy got on the mic saying he hated Buff's guts and he even hated Buff's Momma. "Hollywood" said he use to see her on tv and she had a big ole booty!
Main Event-Buff "The Stuff" Bagwell & "The Human Highlight Reel" Austin Lane vs CCR "Crazed Country Rebels" Demon X & Wild Bill with "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock & "Hollywood" Jimmy's personal hairdresser, Bruce "The Juice" in their corner-Special Referee was The Hollywood Clique's very own JC Henderson-Action got underway with Demon X delivering a big powerslam on Buff. Buff would retaliate with an arm drag, hiptoss and body slam of his own, forcing Demon X to abort to the floor. Back inside, Buff and Austin connected with a double elbow on Demon X. They went for the cover, but there was a slow count by Referee JC Henderson. Wild Bill made the tag and planted a couple deliberate right fists on Austin Lane right in front of Referee JC Henderson, but he refused to even acknowledge them. However when Austin punched Wild Bill, Referee JC Henderson warned Austin to watch the fists. Double hiptoss on Wild Bill. Wild Bill cut out of the ring. "Hollywood" Jimmy's personal hairdresser Bruce "The Juice" sprayed Buff in the face with his hairspray. Austin Lane with an innovative hiptoss into a neckbreaker. Demon X ran in taking a cheap shot at Buff. Austin got caught up in the ropes with "Hollywood" Jimmy knocking him down with his cane. Austin was thrown to the floor, where "Hollywood" Jimmy choked him with his cane as Bruce "The Juice" sprayed him. Demon X with a big spinebuster. Wild Bill with a couple nice standing dropkicks. Austin Lane managed to break free with an enzuguri. Hot tag made to Buff. Crowd went crazy! Buff is on fire. Referee JC Henderson ended up taking a bump in the corner. Buff hit Demon X with his signature Blockbuster finisher and went for the pin. Referee Jimmy Rhodes ran down to make the count, but "Hollywood" Jimmy pulled him out at two. Outside the ring, as "Hollywood" Jimmy was chewing out Referee Jimmy Rhodes, Austin Lane came up and knocked out "Hollywood". Austin made the cover and Referee Jimmy Rhodes made the three count. Your winners, Buff & Austin Lane! After the match, "Hollywood" Jimmy was livid asking his Referee JC Henderson what happened. Buff and Austin Lane were trying to get Referee JC Henderson to raise their hands, but the disappointed official refused.
Rickey Rowland and Double J wrapped up the show as ASWF's exciting September to Remember event came to an end. Really enjoyed the show. Love The Valiant Arena and the setup they've got there. The Hall of Fame is also really neat. GOOD CALL
