MLW's resident blond bombshell powerhouse contacted our offices today. And to say she was not happy would be an understatement. Brandi Wine was pissed off at the fact that she had not been contacted sooner about appearing at the October 16-17 Magnificent Ladies Wrestling event.
"Y'all are bringing in some pretty girls, but can they wrestle?" she asked angrily. "Whether you like it or you don't like it, you better learn to love it because I'll be at the MLW Arena in October, and I'm gonna kick ass and take names! Put me in the ring against any of them, and I'll break them in half. I'm pissed, and somebody's gotta pay the cost!"
Several attempts were made to calm Brandi down during her tirade. The general consensus in the MLW office is that she has always been a pleasure to work with and very professional. However, after hearing this side of her, many of the staff are concerned about what she might do.
"Brandi's already a very accomplished wrestler," said MLW President Darrell. "But now she's angry. That's a dangerous combination with her skills and strength. It was not our intention to upset Brandi. We love Brandi and want her to know that the MLW doors are always open to her."
