Bobby Heenan's First Protege and Valiant "Brother", John Hill, Dies At Age 68



John Hill, better known as Guy "The Stomper" Mitchell passed away yesterday at the age of 68.

Many aren't aware but Hill was the first ever wrestler that Bobby Heenan managed in the sport.

Our condolences go out to the family and friends of Hill.

In the WWA, Guy Mitchell wrestled as "Jerry Heenan" the brother tag team partner of a rookie named Bobby Heenan.

In 1978, Guy Mitchell debuted on the WWWF as "Jerry Valiant", replacing Jimmy in the Valiant Brothers - teaming with Johnny.

In May 2005, John Hill attended a "Valiant Brother Reunion" along with his "brothers" Jimmy & Johnny for the first time in 25 years!
