86 started off their holiday weekend at the beautiful downtown Stadium Inn. OUR officials for the evening are JW Boogie Stratton and Jamie Ferrari.
Psycho Medic beat Dyron Flynn in 6:00. DF seemed less Irish than usual tonight. DF tries a piledriver on PM but gets backdropped then pulled into the Scalpel for the pin.
Saint beat Bad Boy Dixon with a spinebuster in 7:00. Gordon quietly starts a "momma's boy" chant at BBD. S has the right side of his face bandaged from the pretty fireball he took last Saturday. BBD shoots S into the corner and does a walk-up kneelift but whiffs on a swinging kick and crotches himself. S pulls him away and dropkicks then finishes him off.
Shane Smalls beat Pretty James Duncan in 8:00. As JD comes out a woman in a flannel shirt provocatively dances for a man sitting next to her, which was quite a sight SS comes out all happy and stuff with a reformed outlook on things. SS in control until JD shoves SS off the top, preventing a tornado DDT. JD tries a pretty figure four but SS reverses it. JD tries to reapply but SS small packages him for the pin.
Tony welcomes back some old friends tonight then says Ace Rockwell and Shawn Tempers will be here next week.
USWO Jr Champion Lee Cross b Jason Haggerty and Insane D in a 3-way when he pinned Haggerty in 4:00. Mostly JH and ID wrestling each other with LC watching and breaking up pinfall tries. (Didn't see pin due to a conference blocking my view)
Intermission sees the flannel shirt woman now giving the man a lap dance!
Jeff Daniels & Ryan Stone b Tommy Mercer & Playboy Scott Hayes in 18:00. People notice Dominique is absent again tonight. RS likely making USWO debut (fun fact: 164 wrestlers appeared in matches at the Stadium Inn from 9/1/08 thru 8/31/09). PSH/TM have the upper hand early but RS whips PSH into a JD kick to the back thus initiating double teaming. PSH eventually escapes this and makes the hot tag to TM. PSH dumps RS out and launches himself onto RS. TM pounds on JD in the corner and ref JF has to separate them. JF pulls TM away as JD swings at TM but misses and clobbers JF. Meanwhile, RS shoves PSH into the ringpost and sneaks back in to stunner TM, pulling JD on top as the woozy JF counts the pin.
Gordon commissions a rematch, possibly with 2 refs.
ATL Champion Chrisjen Hayme vs Bryan Casey went to a double countout in 14:00. CH has chosen more aggressive entrance music tonight After going back and forth for a while, CH sets BC up for a tornado DDT but BC pushes him off and rolls him up using feet on the ropes for an apparent victory at the ten minute mark. Gordon is on the case and commissions a restart. CH tenpunches and hits a running lariat but BC counters with a lungblower followed by a torture rack slam for 2. CH spears BC through the ropes and out to the floor. Slug and chop-fest happens as ref Boogie counts both of them out.
CH whips BC into a section of chairs then follows and throws chairs at him until the two are separated. Bill Deshields tries to restrain CH but goes down hard. Tony says we saw a different side of CH (must be the change in music and suggest a street fight rematch.
USWO Tag Team Champions Damien Payne & Josh Crowe b Kevin Dunn & Matt Korbaine by DQ in 14:00. No sign of Hot Rod Biggs tonight. KD/MK still coming out to the GEICO song Psycho Medic is brought out to be a special ref and proclaims his impartiality. Both teams show off some cool double team moves here. Champs isolate MK and work him over a bit. Hot tag made then KD/MK do the Hardys thing where MK leg lariats after launching off KD, only ref PM gets pulled in front of DP and gets hit with the move. JC comes in but receives a double enziguri and is covered as ref Boogie runs out and counts the pin. MK/KD presented with the belts BUT WAIT! PM comes to and snatches the belts away! PM tells Gordon that he has DQ'd KD/MK for hitting the ref and returns the belts to JC/DP, who then pop MK/KD with them and leave them laying.
Chris Michaels b USWO Champion Jerry Lynn by DQ in 15:00. Lots of armworking exchanged early then CM whips JL to the corner but JL pulls up to keep from running into ref Boogie. JL turns around into a CM superkick but that only gets a 2 count and CM is not happy. CM also only gets 2 with a belly to back because JL has gotten a foot on the bottom rope, so he steps out to grab a chair. Ref Boogie tries to take it away but gets elbowed in the face. CM hits the chair on the mat them pitches it to JL and takes a dive. Boogie sees this and DQ's JL!
Gordon reminds CM that the title doesn't change on a DQ. CM suggests JL got himself DQd to keep the title! Tony and Gordon grant CM's request to have a rematch where the title changes hands on a DQ after JL warns CM that he's been in the ring with some of the dirtiest players in the game!
