Report from August 29th IWA Championship Wrestling TV Taping













"The Commentating God" Jason Hall kicked things off by welcoming everyone to the IWA Arena for IWA Championship Wrestling on My50. Jason held up the new United States title and said they will be starting a tournament to crown a NEW U.S. champion. Jason also announced that IWA’s next big show will be “Fall Out” on Friday, September 25, 2009.

"Big CA" Carnage Antwane walked out, saying he was glad to be back and called out The A.N.T.(Amazing Natural Talent). CA said that you like to jump people from behind, come on out here. A.N.T.'s music hit. No A.N.T. CA continued by adding, "Maybe, I need to turn my back." CA turned his back. A.N.T. came out. CA told A.N.T. that he would be nothing without these fans and asked what's his problem. A.N.T. responded by saying CA is jealous because he seen him on tv and now he thinks he can do what he can. A.N.T. added, "I do what I wanna do, when I wanna do it." Announcer, Eddie Spain, joined Jason Hall at the announce table.

Opening Contest-"Big CA" Carnage Antwane vs The A.N.T. (Amazing Natural Talent)-Announcer, Eddie Spain, mentioned that A.N.T. put his hands on him at "Deception" the night before. Eddie Spain and Jason Hall started talking about the upcoming United States Championship Tournament that will crown a new champ. Dre' Black came out and made the match a tag match. Dre' asked A.N.T. to find a partner. "The Manager of Champions" Victor Reed came out with the monstrous Armageddon. Reed was pimpin' with a red suit, shiny belt buckle, and gator boots. Action got underway with CA landing an armdrag takedown on A.N.T., working over the left arm. CA caught A.N.T. with a hip toss, following it up with a dropkick. A.N.T. tagged in Armageddon. CA tried to punch the big man, but hurt his hand in the process. Armageddon drilled CA with some big rights and sent CA's head into A.N.T.'s boot in the corner. A.N.T. in with a headlock. CA tagged in Dre'. CA and Dre' with some double team moves. Armageddon with a big boot and a big clothesline. A.N.T. choked Dre' in the corner while the ref's back was turned. Armageddon and Reed also choked Dre' in the ropes. Dre' and A.N.T. on the outside. As A.N.T. was whipped into the steel guardrail, Armageddon and CA went at it on the inside. Dre' missed a running knee in the guardrail. Armageddon with the big massive chokeslam on CA inside the ring. A.N.T. back in the ring, delivered an "Amazing" standing moonsault on CA and made the cover to get the win. Your winners, The A.N.T. and Armageddon!

IWA’s next big show “Fall Out” will be held on Friday, September 25, 2009 at 7p.m. On this night, they will crown a NEW United States Champion!

With that being said, they began Match #1 in the tournament with Malik "The Great" taking on Cymba, from the Safari Jungle-Cymba was accompanied by "The Manager of Champions" Victor Reed. These two locked up. Cymba sent Malik flying out of the corner with two big flying hip tosses. On the third attempt, Malik landed on his feet, and kicked Cymba. Malik ran into a big clothesline from Cymba. Cymba followed it up with an innovative suplex into a reverse face plant. Cymba continued his attack with a bodyslam and a flying clothesline. Cymba rocked Malik with a big right hand. Cymba crashed down on top of Malik with a headbutt from the second rope. Malik ducked a clothesline and landed a dropkick followed by the "Trouble in Paradise" kick. Malik went up to the top rope, but got knocked off by Victor Reed. Cymba would follow this up with a wicked double armhook ddt. Jason Hall announced that your winner, by disqualification, is Malik "The Great". Jason also said, "Good Call" during the show.

3rd Match-Suicide with his partner, "The Samoan Savage" Samoan Raja vs "The Asylum" (Psycho & Pappy)-The Asylum jumped Suicide and Raja from the beginning. Psycho threw Raja out and they double teamed Suicide. Raja back in chopping away at Psycho and Pappy. Pappy kicked Suicide. Two consecutive boots by The Asylum on Raja. Clubbing forearm shots delivered to Suicide. Suicide sent into the corner and was splash by Pappy and then Psycho. Uppercut by Psycho. Suicide fought back by catching Pappy with a swinging ddt as he kicked Psycho into the ropes. Psycho leveled Suicide with a big clothesline. This was followed by the Fall from Grace finisher. Double pin. Your winners, "The Asylum"! Syn & Stunner ran in with chairs swinging, followed by "Full Scale Assault" (Xander Raines & Jason Steele), who brought out a stop sign. Psycho and Pappy beat the hell out of everyone. Raja took several severe chair shots from Psycho. After The Asylum left, Raja snapped on Xavier Raines and cleared the ring.

"Every Man's Dream and Every Woman's Nightmare" Precious pranced out to say a couple words. Precious said, "If you missed "Deception", you missed something big and Malik wasn't that great. I was all the greatness." Precious asked what was that. (Refering to the U.S. belt on the announce table) Precious said, "I don't think I want that belt. I want that big, big, belt." Precious's opponent, "IWA Original" Sniper, came out. Precious asked me what I was writing and said I had better be writing something good. Then, he said he's never knew a white guy that had feet that big. He followed this up with an, "Oh lord!" Things got started with Precious parading around the ring. Sniper worked on his arm, while Precious was screaming like a baby. Collar and elbow tieup. Precious with a punch in the corner. The ref ordered for him to open it up. Precious answered, "I'm gonna open it up, alright!" Then, things got crazy as Precious went off on Sniper in the corner. The best part of this was when the announcers, Eddie Spain and Jason Hall, jumped up and were hollering. That was great! I really got a kick out of that. Sniper sent Precious into the turnbuckle. Precious started floating around, hitting all the turnbuckles. Sniper with a big elbow and a headlock takedown. Precious tried to roll him up in a pinning combination. Precious fought back, but was stopped when he ran into an elbow. Fist drop by Sniper. When Precious tried to escape the squared circle, Sniper assisted him by kicking him out of the ring. Sniper went out after Precious. Sniper with an elbow drop. Precious sent Sniper crashing into the turnbuckle. As Precious was choking Sniper in the corner, when the ref tried to get him to stop, Precious pushed the official. Precious on the attack, again, but started complaining about his stomach hurting. Sniper started going to town on Precious, even attempting a piledriver. Precious, again, was talking about his stomach. While the ref's back was turned, Precious grabbed a chain from his purse in the corner. Precious nailed Sniper with the chain to get the win. Your winner, Precious! Announcer, Jason Hall, said, "What chain? He used a straight right hand to TKO Sniper. We need some medical attention for Precious! His stomach is hurting!"

"Full Scale Assault" (Xander Raines & Jason Steele) come out and grab the mic, saying they are gonna take the titles and "As you can see from earlier, we can take a beating and keep on ticking! Get them out here so we can make a statement!" The NEW IWA Tag-Team Champions, "S&S" (Syn & Stunner) made their way out, showing the scars from earlier and the night before, "Deception". The title belts looked good. Jason Hall said they should not even been in the finals. Jason Steele and Syn locked up as this week's main event got started. Steele with a chop on Syn. Syn got the crowd behind him. Steele with another chop in the corner. Another lockup. Syn with a chop and dropkick. Double team by S&S, slamming Steele, followed by a kick from Syn and a leg drop from Stunner. Stunner in with a nice dropkick. Steele started working over Syn's lower back. Steele tagged the big man, Xander Raines. Xander in with a BIG suplex. A loud noise rang throughout the IWA Arena as you could tell something popped on the ring. Xander followed it up with an inverted headlock backbreaker (Randy Orton style). Steele tagged in with Full Scale Assault delivering a double underhook suplex. Steele slapped Stunner, who was standing on the apron. While ref was dealing with Stunner, Steele and Xander swapped out. Big slam by Xander. Nice double team with Steele and Xander splashing Syn. Steele with a fisherman suplex on Syn, buy Syn kicked out. Syn ducked two clotheslines and caught Steele with a flying headscissor. Syn tagged Stunner, who ran in with a head of steam. Double shooting star presses by S&S. Xander with a big rock bottom sitdown bomb. Great double team with Xander hitting Stunner with a Samoan drop as Steele connected with a rolling neckbreaker, they said, "One more time!" "The Asylum" (Psycho & Pappy) hit the ring blasting S&S with a kendo stick. Psycho delivered the "Dreamcatcher" neckbreaker on Stunner. Pappy snapped Syn in two with a twisting snap neckbreaker. This looked great as Syn went flying. Psycho with a russian legsweep while choking Stunner. Full Scale Assault came back out as Xander was on the phone. Xander said that they talked to the Commissioner and announced that they are the NEW #1 Contenders for the IWA tag straps. Pappy tried to hit them with a chain as Xander Raines and Jason Steele fled to the back. Psycho and Pappy slapped each other as the show came to an end.

I had fun at the show. Nice building. They actually have an IWA logo on the front of the building. I believe the crowds will only grow with their television spot and the fact that the tv tapings are FREE. You can't beat FREE entertainment for the whole family! It's also refreshing to see some new faces getting tv exposure in the area.
