WrestlingNewsCenter.com recently talked to Reno Diamond about his recent gunshot injury.
Reno Diamond is a recruit at the Memphis Police Academy. Reno's instructor, a 13 year veteran, was demonstrating how she could use her non-shooting hand to pull a weapon from a partner's holster when she accidently shot Reno.
Reno was treated and released at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis for an injury to his left wrist. Reno has a metal rod in his left wrist with four screws connected to his bone. He had about 30 stitches in his arm and is still wearing a splint.
According to the Commericial Appeal, the instructor has been reassigned to duties aways from the training center, but the move isn't necessarily disciplinary.
Reno's instructor is pending the results of an internal investigation. The part of the investigation will seek to determine why the gun was loaded.
Everyone at WrestlingNewsCenter.com would like
to wish Reno Diamond a speedy recovery!
