HWA Results from 9-18 in LaVergne, TN

This recap will give you an idea of the quality show that HWA puts on every Saturday Night at 111 Blue Valley Road in LaVergne (37086 for MapQuesters). Doors open at 7pm and the Show is 100% AAron Camaro Recommended.

Approximately 80-100 people in attendance at the spacious Home of Hardcore for HWA's “Fan Appreciation Night”. Audience members were chosen at random and were given the opportunity to book the show. They not only chose which HWA Wrestlers would face each other, but they also chose which type of matches they would be competing in.

Jeff "The Crippler" Daniels Vs. "No Mercy" Tommy Mercer
Jeff Daniels along with Miss Dominique continued to wage their war against Tommy Mercer in the nights opening contest. Daniels took early advantage with vetran underhanded tactics, but in the end even Miss Dominique's constant interference couldn't keep Tommy Mercer from scoring the pin fall. In what could easily have been a Main Event match, these two tore the house down and gave the rabid HWA Fans a Red Hot start to the nights festivities.

HWA Cruiserweight Champion – Larry Cooter Vs. “New Element” Matt Madison
Up next a lucky fan chose HWA Cruiserweight Champion, Larry Cooter to defend against Fan Favorite, "New Element" Matt Madison in an "I Quit Match”. These two young talented wrestlers exchanged many submission holds, but neither would give in. Larry Cooter, your prototypical Redneck Heel was finally able to ground the High Flying, Matt Madison with a Rear Naked Choke for the "I Quit" Victory.

J.P. Jones Vs. "International Harvester" Brian Swift
Brian Swift may have picked the wrong night to make his HWA debut as the Fans booked him in a "Tennessee Street Fight" against the hated J.P. Jones. Swift tried his best to keep the fight in the ring, but Jones had other plans. With the help of a pie pan, a kendo stick, a steel chair and his manager, The Barbwire Kid. J.P. Jones was able to secure the victory by pummeling the instantly popular newcomer, Brian Swift.

Shaun Fatal Vs. A.J. Stones
The Barbwire Kid returns accompanying A.J. Stones to the ring. Fans choose "Hardcore Rules" as Stones faces off against the technically sound Shaun Fatal. Stones insures that weapons become a factor early in this match, but Fatal is able to avoid receiving much damage with his quickness and speed. In the end his elusiveness proves too much for Stones as Fatal takes the victory.

DeShawn Hoodrich Vs. Tony Ramon
The Fans chose to make these two Heels face each other in a "Fan Participation Lumberjack Strap Match”. Eight Lucky Fans at Ringside would make sure that both of these guys would come up Losers. However the Fans Hatred of DeShawn Hoodrich would be the defining statement in this match as they refused to whip the villianous Tony Ramon and even offered to help him back into the ring upon occasion. Hoodrich took much more than 40 lashes, but was still able to catch Ramon off guard for the win.

“Dangerous” Doug Harrison Vs. “Mr. Impact” J.T. Quest
The Fans put “Dangerous” Doug in the ring against his HWA Rival, J.T. Quest in a “First Blood Match” “Mr. Impact” accompanied to the ring by Miss Ecstasy. Harrison accompanied by a Giant Freakin’ Snake! Great back and forth action between these two evenly matched competitors. With all the vicious headshots, it was surprising the Blood didn’t flow earlier. Harrison takes control until he is distracted by Miss Ecstasy and ambushed by Quest. J.T. Quest takes the opportunity to try to harm Harrison’s Pet. Instead Quest is bitten by the Snake!!! The snakebite draws blood as the referee declares “Dangerous” Doug Harrison the winner.

HWA Heavyweight Champion – KILO Vs. Torch Hudson
This interesting Fan Picked match pitted HWA Heavyweight Champion, KILO against Torch Hudson in a “Brother Vs. Brother Thumb Tack Match”. KILO has Double D in his corner. The Champion took the early advantage by out powering Torch and smashing tacks into his own brother’s face. Torch Hudson is a bloody mess early into the match. KILO muscles Torch into the corner and delivers chops with handfuls of tacks! The HWA Champion is a Monster and proceeds to manhandle his brother. The fans fire up Torch Hudson who finally responds to the beating with a flurry of offense. Interference by Double D allows KILO to take back control and finish things with a HUGE Slam into a pile of thumbtacks for the 1-2-3.

HWA Tag Team Champions – The High Rollers Vs. White Trash & Knightmare
The Fans could not wait to put “Outlaw” Lee Condry and GQ in a “Barbwire Match.” Nobody is more hated in the Home of Hardcore than The High Rollers. The Champs said they wanted no part in the match, but Trash and Knightmare gladly accepted. The Tag Team Main Event was insanity as the participants gouged and ripped each other across the Ring, which was covered in deadly, razor sharp barbwire. With no time limit the carnage went on and on with neither team really gaining the upper hand. Although GQ was bleeding profusely he took advantage of a distracted referee to crack Knightmare in the skull with a Tag Team Title Belt for the three count and the victory.

I hope that this little recap of the HWA Show from last Saturday Night gives people who have never attended one of their Events some insight to how hard these guys work to satisfy their audience. HWA is run by good people who’s number one goal is to Deliver the Goods to the Fans who pay their hard earned money to see a memorable show, and for those who attended this “Fan Appreciation Night” will undoubtly tell you that they definitely got their money’s worth - and then some.
