Steiner Talks About Triple H and Ric Flair

Scott Steiner was recently interviewed by the Miami Herald and had some harsh words about former co-workers Triple H and Ric Flair.

Not only does Scott Steiner strongly dislike Triple H, but apparently Triple H has similar feelings towards Ric Flair these days. Steiner says the relationship between Hunter and Flair has soured with Hunter unable to stand Flair after Flair left the company earlier this year. "When I was up there, it was ridiculous. Flair was kissing Triple H's (expletive) so bad, carrying his bags to buildings. Now Triple H can't stand Ric Flair. To each his own."

Steiner also said why he thinks Flair left WWE. "There's a reason why Flair's not there anymore. It's not because he's retired. Flair's a piece of (expletive). I've been able to read people real good throughout my life. I knew Flair was a piece of (expletive), and Triple H was a piece of (expletive). It didn't take long to figure out."

Barry Windham Fired by WWE (?)

The word going around WWE is that Barry Windham has been let go as an agent/producer. There are no real details on why he has been let go, but many feel that it was a cost cutting measure. Windham had not been at TV for a few weeks, and it was this week at TV that word began to circulate that he was finished with the company.

Windham was hired around the same time that his father, Blackjack Mulligan, was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He stayed on the sidelines for a while, recovering from back surgery, before he officially started as an agent/producer for the company.

WWE Issues Statement About "The Wrestler"

Jeff Wilen of the Daytona Beach News-Journal has issued a statement from WWE in what is the company's reaction to "The Wrestler" movie starring Mickey Rourke. WWE's statement reads:

"While 'The Wrestler' is a very engaging movie, it portrays how wrestling was conducted in some independent wrestling circuits, unlike WWE, which is a global brand with millions of fans."

As reported on Monday, the word making the rounds was that Vince McMahon hated the movie after he was given a private screening by director Darren Aronofsky.

ICW Results from 12-27 in Henry, TN

There was a storm moving thru the area but it did not keep the fans away. There was a packed house (with even a few standing along the wall) of LOUD ICW fans waiting to see the Night of No DQ.

Brimstone and Neal called out the “Young 1's” who came out to the ring looking like they had already been beat up. Hellfire got on the mic and told the fans that while Slingshot and Phoenix was out shopping for Christmas gifts they were attacked in the Walmart parking lot by Brimstone and Neal Dream, which came to a shock to Brim and Neal. But Hellfire said the Young 1's would be in action tonight. Brimstone begged for Hellfire to drop the no contact clause so he could get his hands on him in the ring, but Hellfire refused.

Ladies Match
Jennifer Justice defeated M.O.M. when she hit the Justice Cutter for the pin. This was the ICW debut of M.O.M. After the match it was announced that next time these two meet there will be a Women's Title on the line.

The Kid came out and stated that he messed up last show he did not call out the oldest person in the dressing room so tonight that's what he wanted. So he called out White Lighting. Lighting got in the ring and within a kick to the stomach and a punch to the face the Kid was left laying in the ring once again.
Erik Ego defeated Knockout Kidd and Brian Michaels in a Triple Threat Match. This one was fast pace and hard-hitting with the use of signs and chairs these three took it to the limits. But in the end it was Ego using the ropes to get the pin on Michaels.

Bull and Iron Horse defeated White Lighting and Marcus Dice (who was taking the place for the missing Bad Boy Phillips) This one saw a lot of hardcore action and ended with Lighting walking out on his partner who felt the pain of the two big men when they delivered a Power Bomb/Neckbreaker to him for the win.

The Kid came out again and this time said he was not going to go for the oldest, he was going to go for a younger guy with less experience so he called out Erik Ego. The Kid slapped Ego he grabbed the kid and picked him up on his shoulders and delivered a devastating moving leaving the Kid having to be carried out of the ring. (the Kid was not seen for the rest of the night)

Heavyweight Title Match.
Weasel defeated Frank the Tank to become the ICW Heavyweight Champion. Ty Blade who was injured the night before was unable to compete. So Frank the Tank was brought it to take on Weasel. At times it seemed like the Tank was going to become the Champion but with the people pulling Weasel up time after time with the chants of USA. USA Weasel was able to grab Frank the Tanks chain and nail him with a punch for the 1.2.3... The place went crazy when Weasel won the belt. Weasel got on the mic and thanked the fans for supporting him. ICW fans have a true champion they can be proud of.

Young 1's (Phoenix and Chic Canyon) w/Hellfire Defeated RL Brimstone and Neal Dream w/Jennifer Justice. This one was wild, crazy and everywhere with the debut of the newest member of the Young 1's Chic Canyon it’s easy to tell there is no end in sight of these two teams. At first it was Brimstone and Neal in total control, but with the light bulb to the head from Slingshot which lead to Brimstone's face being covered in blood, and several times Neal's head was ran into the steel chair it was not long till the Young 1's showed they were to be taking serious. In the end it was Neal Dream being put thru a table that gave Chic Canyon the chance to get the pin.

Young 1’s (Phoenix and Chic Canyon) w/Hellfire Defeated RL Brimstone and Neal Dream w/Jennifer Justice. This one was wild, crazy and every where. with the debut of the newest member of the Young 1’s Chic Canyon its easy to tell there is no end in sight of these two teams. At first it was Brimstone and Neal in total control, but with the light bulb to the head from Slingshot which lead to Brimstone’s face being covered in blood, and several times Neal’s head was ran into the steel chair it was not long till the Young 1’s showed they were to be taking serious. In the end it was Neal Dream being put thru a table that gave Chic Canyon the chance to get the pin. The Young 1’s have won this battle but the war is far from over.

After the match as Iron Horse carried Neal out on his shoulders and security dragged Brimstone to the back, these two and the show was giving a standing ovation from the crown. We look forward to seeing everyone on the 17th in Lexington and the 24th back in Henry TN.

On a personal note I want to address the opening of the show. It started off with a big surprise to me. As I’m standing out there video taping footage for the website, Brimstone, Neal Dream and Jennifer Justice come to the ring. Brimstone gets on the mic and tells the fans that they have a dedication out of love and out of respect for the person behind the camera who does the website for ICW. He went on to saying “Some of you might not know but this women is a legend in the business, she has been up and down these roads and has giving blood, sweat and tears with some of the best guys in the business, she is a pro wrestler, her name is Brianna Starr but to us she is a God for what she does with the internet for us, FOR THE LOVE OF US.” Then Brimstone got in the ring and down on one knee to present me with a dozen Red Roses.

Ok The reason I’m added this to the results is for the reason I want to reply to what happen. First off you talk about total shock, I had not clue what was going on. In the wrestling business RESPECT means a lot, and for ICW to show me this type of respect will be one of the highlights of my wrestling career. As for the comment about being a legend, I’m not I just was giving the chance to live out my dream for 9 years. And its my pleasure, no MY HONOR, to be able to do the website for such a great company, great crew and great set of fans. To the ICW crew, your not just a wrestling promotion to me, YOU ARE MY FAMILY and I love you guys so much, thank you for giving me the love, respect and chance to be around you guys and your right thw reason I do the website is out of LOVE FOR ICW. To the ICW fan’s thank you so much for the warm applause that you gave me Saturday night. When I retired in Oct ‘07 I never thought I would be able to be cheered (or booed) by a wrestling crowd again, Thank you for giving me that back at least for one night. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to everyone who was in the building Saturday Night. I honestly can say never in my career have I felt such love and respect as I did Saturday night,
For anyone who has never checked out a ICW show, PLEASE DO. You will honestly not find a better set of guys/gals in the business today and you will not find a better set of fans. Everyone who is apart of ICW in the ring, behind the scenes, and sitting in the crowd are top of the line people, and I’m so thankful that I get to be apart of the ICW family.

Hope everyone has a safe and happy New Years and look forward to seeing you in 2009 at a ICW show.

Thanks to Brianna Starr for sending in these results of the ICW show.

Brian Christopher beat Kevin White. Garry White wasn't at ringside but when Christopher went for his hiphop drop, Garry came to ringside and shoved Christopher off the top rope. Christopher finally got the win with a Pat O'Connor roll.

Main Event was a battle royal. It came down to Albino Rhino and Brian Christopher. Christopher finally got the big 405lb Albino over the top. While he was celebrating the win, Garry White sent the 2 locals in and they tossed Christopher over the top for the win.

300 in the crowd.

RWA Results from 12-27 in Jonesboro, AR

Match 1 The Loose Cannon VS PP3 Winner PP3 by DQ
Match 2 John Allen vs Ron Rage Winner Ron Rage by Pin
Match 3 Mike Anthony Poker face VS Memory of Mayhem Winner Poker face-Mike Anthony by Pin
Match 4 Silas Vs Gary Diamond Winner Gary Diamond by DQ
Match 5 Roger Allen VS Soul Train Jones Winner Soul Train by Pin
Match 6 J.D. Kerry and Mike Titan VS The Natural Born Playa'z Winner J.D. Kerry and Mike Titan.
Match 7. Main Event: Loser Leaves Arkansas. RWA Title on the line. Angel of Sin Champion VS Rodney "Bad Dawg" Mack. Winner and New RWA Champion Rodney "Bad Dawg" Mack.

Owner Frank Martin opened the show thanking everyone for coming out in the stormy weather and just days after Christmas.

The Loose Cannon came out doing a mic spill and telling everyone that he was done with playing the fool. He was interrupted by Dr. Randy who told him that he thought it was funny that he was pinned by Santa Claus...Cannon attacked Randy and had to be pulled off him. Randy came to ringside with Cannon’s opponent PP3. Cannon laid both to waste and was DQ because he would not stop. Plus as they were helping them out of the ring Cannon came out and attacked them again. Something has changed in Cannon.

Ron Rage came out and brought Silas with him, he told the crowd that Silas was the only person that called to check on him while he was in rehab. He told Martin that because Martin made him go to rehab all it did was piss him off. He introduced then the original members of P.O.B Buzz kill and his wife Raven.

Silas need help with Gary Diamond as Diamond showed everyone that he could go with the biggest man in the RWA. P.O.B Jumped in on his behalf but Rodney Mack and Soul Train Jones made the save.

The Main Event was everything it was built up to be. Before the match started AOS changed the rules and made it a no DQ. This was a very physical match, chair shots were very stiff. Ricky Porter who was the person that saved J.D.Kerry when the Angel first showed up was at ring side as he is always with the Angel. During the match Ricky came in and hit the RKO on the Angel turning the tide and Mack then finished the job. Angel then tried to attack Porter who gave him a back drop and kicked him out of the ring. Mack then told the Angel to go out the front door not out through the talent exit. Angel told him no one was bad enough to make him go out that way. As Mack was taking him out the front door the POB met him and started the attack. Soul Train came out of the back to help but it was 4 on 3. To the surprise of everyone there out of nowhere Austin Lane’s music hit and so did Austin and started to clear the ring. It looks like Austin is a face in the RWA as he helped Mack. Mack welcomed him to the dog pound. The fans were going crazy. Big night for the RWA and it looks like it is going to get bigger. Another surprise will happen this Saturday Night....

Over 100 in the building and the crowd was hot all night.

DCW Results from 12-27 in Dyersburg, TN

----Tim Edwards beat Seth Knight using a chain.

----Rockin Randy beat “The Baron” Malkavain with a superkick.

----Jimmy Tidwell came out talking about the “Rock N Roll Express” and how Robert Gibson was not here and that Ricky Morton needed a partner. Morton made his way down to ringside for almost no pop. Morton was good on the mic here talking about him having to deal with managers like Jim Cornette and Jimmy Hart in his career. “Pain & Justice” [Motley Cruz/Mark Justice] jumped Morton and then Justin “The Juice” Smart made the save to set up the tag later in the night. Fans did pop for Smart save.

----Shannon Lee beat Erik Hayes with swanton.

----“Five Starr Showcase” – Dustin Starr comes out with Angelina. After the first 2 minutes of this segment, Starr had more heat than the whole roster. Starr was putting over Angelina and the crowd hated her. This was her first appearance here and she was called all kinds of names. Derrick King came out to challenge Starr. They made a match where if DK won he got five minutes with Angelina and if Starr won DK would have to buy Angelina jewelry.

----Chris Rocker beat Bishop with Rashard Devon.

----Kilo beat Tim Edwards with a superkick.

----“Pain & Justice” [Motley Cruz/Mark Justice] beat “Rock N Juice Express” [Justin Smart/Ricky Morton] in a good solid match. Smart had some mixed up exchanges, but did good taking an ass whipping with Morton waiting on the outside for the hot tag. Smart took two hard chops from Justice. Smart needs to slow down and be patient – just listen when you are in with guys like Justice/Cruz. He has a good look and has potential to be a big babyface in this town. Hot tag to Morton – boom, boom and boom – Cruz hits Morton with a chain and gets the pin.

----Derrick King beat Dustin Starr. The match started out so slow. Starr would get in the ring and then out of the ring to the mic. Heat was real good as the fans were eating it up. But, I just don’t like the stalling at the start of a bout. Believe me Starr was working hard, but not wrestling. Heat started after an Alabama slam out of the turnbuckle on DK. They brawled all over the place knocking over chairs and such. Good brawl. Finish had DK pinned a superkick, but then he then pulled Starr’s feet from under him and did a front roll putting Starr’s shoulders to the mat. DK then went for Angelina and his 5 minutes with her. I thought she was going to give him a BJ at one point. Starr finally jumped DK after the match. He piledrove DK on a ladder and then a table. They left with tons of heat. DK was motionless in the ring and called for the whole building to clear. Between DK/Kilo in this I thought DK was legit hurt. I guess we all got to be worked at some time or another right??

105 in the building, which would be an increase of about 48% from the last few weeks and the biggest crowd so far.

Trial Date Set for Dr. Phil Astin

Dr. Phil Astin III, who was the Benoit family physician at the time of the Benoit double murder/suicide, will finally go to trial in Newnan, Georgia on Monday March 16th, 2009. The trial was to begin in January of 2009, but Dr. Astin requested a 90-day continuance from District Judge Jack T. Camp, and has received it. Dr. Astin was originally indicted in July of 2007, and then more charges were brought against him in May of 2008. Dr. Astin will face 175 federal counts of illegal prescription abuse. Those charges are made up of 150 counts of illegal prescription abuse, involving 17 patients. Two of these patients are believed to be wrestlers who were working for WWE at the time the illegal prescriptions were given out. Dr. Astin has denied all of the charges. At the time of the indictment, back in 2007, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that the patients allegedly received illegal prescriptions for the following drugs: Percocet, Oxycontin, Demerol, Lorcet, Ritalin, Vicodin, Xanax, Adderall and Soma. The prosecution is also claiming that Dr. Astin's prescriptions led to the death of a patient, likely former ECW and WCW Tag Team Champion Mike "Johnny Grunge" Durham. Dr. Astin was the primary physician of Durham, and he wrote 32 of the 36 prescriptions written for Durham during the last year of his life. Astin was investigated after the death of Chris, Nancy and Daniel Benoit due to a few reasons. First of all he was the Benoit family doctor, secondly Chris Benoit had visited Dr. Astin's office prior to the double murder/suicide, and finally because the toxicology report on Chris Benoit showed that he had a testosterone level which was 10-times above the normal level. Since being indicted in 2007, Dr. Astin has fallen into financial distress. Manubir S. Arora, Astin's original attorney, quit the case due to the fact that Astin could no longer pay him. This led to a public defender being assigned to Astin. At one time Astin was under house arrest, but was later granted the ability to work for a local towing company The family of the late Nancy Benoit formed a foundation in the memory of Nancy and Daniel Benoit earlier this year. Donations can be sent to: The Nancy and Daniel Benoit Foundation for Battered Women and Abused Children c/o Decker, Hallman, Barber and Briggs 260 Peachtree St. Suite 1700 Atlanta, GA 30303.

USWO/ATL Results from 12/27 in Nashville

24 dropped by tonight for the coronation of the "King of the Stadium Inn" in the main event. Mark Owen and Boogie the Cowardly Lion are OUR USWO/ATL officials for the evening.

Derrick Neal vs Saint went to a double countout
OUR USWO/ATL Dance-Off Champion Peekaboo notes that S has gotten a haircut. DN tries some armworking but S keeps stepping through the ropes to break the holds. S misses a splash and DN throws him out and follows. DN kicks to the ribs but S lowblows him and throws him into the empty gimmick tables. DN returns the favor as ref BTCL counts them out in 4:00
Gordon informs both that they have been selected to participate in the 4-way main event!

Travis Starr b Convict Clown
CC has some trouble securing his mask. BTCL emphasizes the "no biting" rule here. TS armworks until CC reverses it into a headlock. TS takes CC down then throws him around until he rolls out. Back in, CC rakes the face and chokes TS in the ropes then holds a top armbar. CC backdrops TS out to the floor, lariats him, and throws him back in. CC whips TS to the corner but misses a splash and TS bulldogs him for the pin in 6:00

Otis Bass b Kevin Dunn (w/Ronnie Vegas) by DQ
Tony says Richard Lowe is currently under a doctor's care so RL hired OB to deal with KD. OB implies that RV ran out of money but RL didn't, so that's why he's here tonight. KD claims bandanna pulling on initial lockups so OB yanks it off on the next one and shoves it down the back of his overalls. KD tries armworking but OB just flings him away. KD headlocks but OB shoots him into the ropes and blocks him down. KD finally backs OB to the corner and puts the boots to him then RV chokes OB with the cane. KD pounds away and rolls OB over for 2 then whips him hard to the corner but runs into a boot. OB lariats KD for a cover but RV is up on the apron with BTCL. OB grabs RV, who has slid the cane to KD. BTCL spots KD whacking OB with the cane and DQs him in 8:00
KD continues with the cane until Tony runs in and works over KD!
Tony says he's got overalls and is putting them on next Saturday to team with OB against KD and whoever RV can scrounge up. Tony says he's ready to live his life! Gordon offers his managerial services to counter RV. OB goes all Jeff Dunham and says we will see "RV on a stick" next week!

ATL Tag Team Champions Derrick Neal & Psycho Medic b Damien Payne & Chris Norte
PM/DN are OUR ATL Tag Team Champions and this is a title match (although Gordon points out that the actual tag belts are being worked on). DP out saying his mystery partner once rocked the tag division but have since patched up their differences. New York Gangster's music plays but CN comes out instead! CN notes that NYG is home sitting on the couch while the "Superstars of Wrestling" reunite! DN notices DP appears to have a slight beer belly and asks about the due date, lol.
At this point, Krull and Trent Van Drisse appear at the front door! Anyway, DN armworks and takes CN down. CN slips away from an armdrag but DN leg lariats him for 2. PM in to splash and DDT CN for 2 but CN slips away to tag DP in. PM is all over DP until he gets the eyes raked and dragged back to the wrong corner for double teaming. PM briefly tossed to the floor for additional punishment and brought back in for DP to apply a sleeper. PM breaks free only to be choked in the ropes for a while as ref MO counsels DN on illegal entry. DP misses a diving headbutt and we get TAGS! DN chases DP out which allows PM to hit the Lethal injection on CN for the pin in 9:00
Tony informs DP that he is in the main event. Tony thought that maybe Ronnie Vegas called Krull to make a pancake out of Tony, but that turned out not to be true.

OUR USWO/ATL Dance-Off Champion Peekaboo is in the ring as a call is put out for challengers. Ref MO wanders out and is ready to get down! TVD says he's never seen a zebra dance! MO doesn't bust a move as much as he appears to be prancing through a leafy glade. Peekaboo gets down and brings back the hand jive this week, easily winning and keeping his unbeaten streak alive! Peekaboo does not ask "Who's next?", however.

Damien Payne b Derrick Neal and Anthony Wayne and Saint in an elimination match to become "King of the Stadium Inn"
AW all over DP to start and suplexes him for 2. AW does the same to S, headbutting and dropkicking him for 2 then applying a rear chinlock. S stunners out and big boots AW for 2 before DN breaks it up. AW tags DN and slingshots DP in. DN chops and covers for 2 but S breaks it up and DP chinbreakers out. DP/S work over AW and whip him into DN. DP gets booted out then slams AW onto S. DN/AW double dropkick S and AW pins him at 8:00
DP takes a seat in the front row as DN/AW wrestle cleanly for a few minutes. DN gets a black hole slam on AW and goes for a cover but DP runs in and pushes DN out through the ropes and covers AW himself for a pin at 11:00
DP pulls DN back in and they trade covers. DP diamond cutters DN and flops over on him for 2. DN grabs a single leg crab on DP and doublestomps when DP makes the ropes. DP lowblows DN then they have a chopfest. DN neckbreakers DP, who rolls to the floor. DN retrieves DP and covers him for 2. DP blocks a suplex and rolls up DN with a handful o'tights and gts the win in 15:00
DP is crowned "King of the Stadium Inn" and runs over to "King of the Internet" TVD who bows down to him, leading Chicken Hat to call TVD a butt-kisser, lol.
Gordon and Tony make a rematch between DN/DP for the crown in a fan lumberjack match!

USWO Results from 12/26 in Nashville, TN

83 assembled peacefully at the Stadium Inn tonight. LT Falk comes out to talk about Rollin' Hard and there is a ten bell for him. Mark Owen is OUR USWO official for the evening. No girlfriends were neglected in the posting of this report.

Shawn Hoodrich b Convict Clown
SH throws CC around and out to stagger to a front row seat. Back in, SH speedbags CC in the corner but then misses a charge and flies out to the floor. CC fetches SH and throws him back in for stomping then a sleeper try. SH gets free but CC kneelifts and beats him some more. SH up, ducks a lariat and reverse ranas CC for the pin in 4:00

Lee Cross b Psycho Medic
LC is cornrow-free this week, which I guess makes it easier to complain about hairpulling on the opening lockups. PM finally just shoves LC into the corner and splashes then beats on LC until he begs off. LC then rakes the eyes but PM lariats him. PM misses a splash and LC targets the arm, wrapping it around the ringpost then holds an armbar. LC chokes PM in the ropes but can't hold him down. PM sets up for the Malpractice but LC wriggles free and rolls up PM, putting his feet on the ropes for the pin in 6:00

Jeremiah Plunkett comes out. JP says he was not pleased to call the hotline and hear that he had to wrestle Super Delirious Black Ninja, who is winless thus far in USWO. JP says he will beat SDBN, which means that LT Falk won't get his dream match. JP gets off a "Special Olympics" blast at a heckler as LT comes out. LT was going to wait until SDBN won tonight (which makes JP laugh) but reveals that his dream match is a "loser leaves USWO" match! JP reprimands Gordon for being on the phone and accepts, but he wants LT to kiss his boots if JP wins and JP will shake LT's hand if JP loses.

Jason Xavier b Petey Wright and Chris Norte
JX is OUR USWO Jr. Champion and this is a one-fall title match. PW has a few female fans in attendance tonight. JX breaks out the brief Jacket Removal Ritual. JX/PW exchange armworking then armdrag each other. JX headscissors PW but gets rolled back for 2. PW dropkicks JX hard but misses a splash and JX schoolboys him for 2 but CN breaks it up. PW tiltawhirls CN out then flips out onto him. JX then dives onto the other 2. Back in, CN rakes the eyes and butterfly suplexes JX for 2 before PW breaks it up. CN goes for a sleeper but JX stunners out and tag PW in. CN/PW have a chopfest till CN firemans carries him and drops him across his knees for 2. JX in to give PW a standing moonsault for 2 but then he and PW collide. CN in to surfboard PW then give him a jumping legsweep for 2. CN sets PW up top but PW fights him away only to whiff on the Wright Stuff and roll to the apron. JX runs in to give CN a neckbreaker for the pin in 11:00
Tony notes that the future of the USWO was in this match as T-Shirt Guy Will passes out Christmas cards.

Super Delirious Black Ninja b Jeremiah Plunkett
JP with headlock but SDBN armdrags and JP bails. Waistlocks traded then SDBN armworks until he misses a splash and JP gives him an armbreaker. JP wraps the arm around the ropes then boots SDBN to the floor. JP bangs the arm into the ringpost and throws him back in, setting up the triangle choke. JP exchanges witty banter with the crowd as SDBN eventually scoots to the ropes. BN up with a Ninjaguri then whips JP to the ropes. JP pulls up and dropkicks SDBN then head out to grab a chair. JP goes to use chair but ref MO takes it away, claiming JP "didn't pay me" (!). JP doesn't see SDBN sneak up to schoolboy him for the pin in 6:00
SDBN unmasks to reveal LT Falk! Whodathunkit? LT says he borrowed the outfit for tonight. JP says LT won't get over on him again!

Saint & Tim Renesto b Shane Eden & Derrick Neal and Damien Payne & Josh Crowe to win the vacant USWO Tag Team Championship
This will be an elimination match. DN/DP start with mostly DN throwing DP around. Several permutations mix it up until TR manages to isolate DN and JC pitches in to help TR. JC/DP dropkick DN for 2 then JC slingshot stomps him and swats at SE. DN receives a standing moonsault from JC and a back senton from DP for 2. JC suplexes DN with a bridge for 2 but SE darts in to stomp JC. TR/S take turns stomping and choking DN. DP in to try a famouser but DN blocks it and small packages him for a pin at 8:00
S/TR double legsweep DN for 2 and TR complains about the slow count. DN gets beat on awhile longer until he wins a slugfest and leg lariats S and we get TAGS! SE beats on TR and mule kicks S. DN/TR spill out as SE goes for a tenpunch on S. TR pulls an international object and jumps up to pop SE with it. SE goes down and S pins him with feet on the ropes to win the titles in 14:00
Tony mad! Tony make TR/S defend against SE/DN next week!

Michael Jablonski b Mitch Ryder
Psycho Medic is OUR special referee. MJ is OUR USWO Champion and this is a title match. MR is convinced that this is all a big conspiracy. Lockups lead to MR claiming hairpulling. MJ pitches some fists, lariats, and slams MR who bails to the floor. Back in, MJ rams MR into turnbuckles and MR bails again but this time takes the mic and complains about rules violations. Back in, MR trips up MJ and works the leg a bit. MR throws forearms and double axehandles for 2 then celebrates. MR tries a sleeper and takes MJ down but can't get the arm dropped a third time. MJ up and they collide and stay down to 7 as LT Falk wanders out. LT cheers MJ on but when MR get whipped to the ropes, LT trips him up and MJ legdrops him for the pin in 9:00
MR complains even more, calls MJ a low-life and wants a 2/3 falls match with LT barred from ringside. Tony agrees to grant MR's request but this will be his only title shot for 2009!

Austin Lane responds

Austin Lane sent in his response to Cannon's Fire.

I just read Cannon's Fire(the Christmas Edition). I wanted to respond to the comment that David Walls told Cannon that I spread rumors about Cannon, Treat, and Rotten Randy being fired from RWA. I neve said any such thing. That is childish bullcrap. That is the reason I left ASWF. I was never appreciated nor respected for the work that I did. I am not going to get into this he said-she said crap. I am a grown man. I don't have time for that. I don't care who gets mad. My focus right now is to help build RWA. Not to slander anyone. Actually I was told that Cannon has been working his a** off here recently. And I passed that on. You can ask any ASWF worker. Randy's name never came up. And all I said about Treat was that I didn't think he was working there at this time. Any idiot with a computer can see that. Also... I AM a team player. If you really know me, then you know that. No one man makes a show. Actually, no one man makes a match. It takes two people to get the match over. And it takes a whole locker room to get the show over. So to Cannon and David Walls....I am not getting into this childish bullcrap. I am focused on one thing. Putting a rear end in every seat for RWA Wrestling. Thank you and please come out to see me and Nikki Lane for the Royal Wrestling Alliance!

After she got the tag to Misty the men ran into each other chasing her around the ring. Scotty Roberts tried to get in the ring but Handsome Jimmy did a number on him. Gibson went after Valiant and was met with a punch followed by a school boy from Lynn for the pin.

* In a Wild, Crazy and Bloody Lights Out Texas Death Match the fan favorites beat the rule breakers.
Before the match started Beau James brought out Tony Givens first partner Wade Adams. This was Wade's first time in Kingsport in almost 5 years. James trained Adams and Givens in 2001 they were known as the 1-2-3 Express. James said that since Givens turned his back on Adams and took Robbie Cassidy as his partner that Wade had been heart broken and just wondering the streets and he career ended when Tony's took off. Adams said he just wanted on chance to punch Givens in the face.

The match started as The Family Beau James, Brian Logan, and Chase Owens vs. G1 Tony Givens, Wayne Adkins, and Moe Jenkins. G1 hit the ring on fire and it was not long before James and Logan were bleeding. The Family took control after Ownes caught Adkins in a back breaker. The Family did a number on Adkins for a several minutes before he was able to make a tag to Givens. Givens came in and clean house followed by Jenkins. Adkins got back up and G1 were in control. They did a number on The Family.

All three were down and the ref Mike DiMuzio started a count when he reached 7 Wade Adams, Scott Roberts, Kole Layton King, Bobo Brown hit the ring and it was 7 on 3. Nick Hammonds came out with a towel and ice pack around his neck and he was stopped by the Family. Most of the wrestlers were on the floor and Tony Givens dove over the top rope into a gang of wrestlers and refs.

Every one was down but Logan,James and Adkins. James took the handle to his whip and used it on Adkins opening him up. Adkins was down and bleeding bad when Ricky Morton hit the ring and went after James. Logan got Morton from behind. They went to use the whip but Givens was back in the ring to stop it. The Family and friends left ring side.

Ricky Morton got on the mic and said the people came to see a fight and they got that ,but they also came to see a winner and a loser. He challenged the Family and friends to come back. They did and the fight was on again. The Family never got in the ring G1 was all over them. Morton caught King coming in. Morton, Adkins, and Givens gave King a spike pile driver and he was out fro the 10 count.

Anton LeVeigh's New Look

After

Before

Most of us know, Anton is now living in Houston Texas and used to wrestle all over the Mid-South. Here's Anton's new look without his long hair. I like to not recognized him....

Chyna Hospitalized

We've learned Chyna was rushed to the hospital early Saturday -- her birthday. She was so drunk when was admitted, the shrinks at hospital couldn't even do a psych evaluation.

Paramedics were called to her home in Burbank just before 5:00 AM. Saturday. She was celebrating her birthday with a few friends and had a way too many drinks -- which didn't mix well with her prescriptions.

Friends found her passed out with cuts on her arms and were so worried, they called 911. After she was taken to the hospital, doctors wanted to perform a psych evaluation, but her blood alcohol level so high they had to wait.

We spoke with Chyna in the hospital -- She said, "All I really want right now is a hamburger and fries right now."

WWE Censors Two Anti-Cena Signs

At Monday's Raw in Toronto, two anti-Cena signs were quite visible on camera when Cena himself got on the mic to introduce the returning Trish Stratus as his tag team partner for his match with Santino Marella and Beth Phoenix. The signs read "Cuck Fena" and "We've Cena 'Nuff!" - which was held up a few moments later. Both signs were held up by the same person, and quickly confiscated by security. As recently as a few months ago - and definitely a few years ago when WWE marketed products featuring catchy slogans such as "Ruck Fules!", "Blow me ... Into the Stratusphere!", "APA - Always Pounding Ass", and "Wine me, Dine me, 619 me!" - both signs would have passed through, but that's not the case anymore due to the company's new-found kid-friendly directive, as well as WWE becoming more meticulous over what appears on-air.

As noted earlier, Jim Ross talked about the confiscated fan signs in his most recent blog and said those types of signs are not going to pass through in this day and age. Ross wrote: "As I have said many times, I am all for freedom of speech unless it crosses the line in the form of signs that essentially profanely scream, "please look at me." The "Cuck Fena" sign that was wisely confiscated in Toronto is a good example of crossing the line. It's akin to the "Tuck Fexas" shirt some here in Oklahoma wear. Bad taste...not cool. There was a time when that sort of material was actually encouraged and marketed in the WWE but that attitudinal ship has sailed."Just to note, there is always a guy on a headset sitting by the announcers, and he is the person in charge of directing security to confiscate questionable fan signs, at least upon hearing from the people in the production truck. Sometimes he'll even get out of his chair and confiscate the questionable fan signs himself.

Memphis Wrestling Results-December 20, 2008

Corey Maclin opened the show and wished everyone, Happy Holidays. Jerry "The King" Lawler joined Corey, again, by special hook-up from his office at home. Jerry informed everybody of the hot deals going on at KingLawler.com. Jerry said he is going to bring us the best of Leave It To Lawler, later in the program.

Opening the vault video package featuring "The Universal Heartthrob" Austin Idol. After the music video, they showed a match with Austin Idol teaming with Jerry Lawler as they squared off against The Road Warriors, Hawk and Animal, along with their manager "Precious" Paul Ellering. This one turned into a brawl with Animal getting his team disqualified after throwing Referee Jerry Calhoun out of the ring.

More opening the vault footage featuring a cage match between Jerry Lawler and "The Macho Man" Randy Savage. Ooooh, yeah!!! During this one, Big Joe Leduc made his presence felt by entering the cage and jumping Lawler. Savage joined Leduc as they brutally attacked "The King".

Lawler, back in his office, took out a government stimulus check for five dollars and eighty-five cents. Jerry followed by adding, "Is that great? Boy, is this a great country or what? A government stimulus check. I'm gonna really blow it out this Christmas! I tell ya with that."

Jerry said on KingLawler.com, you can now purchase limited editions of his artworks that are already framed, as well as, pictures, shirts, motor scooters, crowns, belts, and much more.

Jerry mentioned that he had more fun while doing the Leave It To Lawler episodes, a couple years ago, than maybe anything that he had ever done in his entire career of wrestling. This was what a reality show would be like if they had cameras follow around Lawler at "The King's" house. Here are the videos of Leave It To Lawler that were shown.

After the videos, Corey added that this Saturday's Special Best of 2008 show will be filmed live at Jerry Lawler's new home.

This week's Wood & Carlton Slam of the Week was from Leave It To Lawler when Jerry piledrived his butler, Alfred, in order to save him from choking on a chicken bone.

Corey Maclin reminded everyone of the Special Best of 08 Edition of Memphis Wrestling that's coming up this Saturday.

They ended the show with the special montage, A Salute To Memphis Wrestling's Fallen Superstars.

Merry Christmas From The Crew @ WrestlingNewsCenter

Merry Christmas to all the visitors from the crew at WrestlingNewsCenter.com

Funny Christmas Poem

This is from Brian Tramel
Funny Stuff!!

TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS

Twas the night before Christmas, low was the house
Kevin White was smiling big and it was time for Klaus
In the dressing rooms, the workers were talking about Dustin Starr
Hoping they could wrestle and then on to the bar

The fans were marking out of their heads
Waiting to hear what Hollywood Jimmy said
Out from the back came Eric Wayne
Who swore “I didn’t mean to kick him the face..DANG!!”
In the parking lot, arose such a mass
It was Leslie Jones from Christmas past
Standing by the window, it was his friend Neal
Tim Edwards yelled, “Dammit, I am the Real Deal!!”

As I looked outside again at the new-fallen snow
Bill Dundee is at the circus, you know??
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear
But a black man with blond hair holding a beer
He was so lively and wearing a crown
His chest pushed out and he said, “I hate wrestling in this town.”Now BLS !! Now Tatt2!! Now Austin Lane!! Now TGB!!On SOBs!!
On Seth Knight!! On Idol Bane!! On Stan Lee!!
To the dressing room!! To the ring!! To the mat!!Now hiptoss!! Now bodyslam!! Now rat!!
As the man made himself the center of the show
The fans were chanting “ Go, DK , Go!!”
He yelled at the fans and said go home
I would rather be here all alone!!

He was dressed all in wrestling gear, from his head to his foot
And his gear was all tarnished with vodka and soot
His crown almost falling off the top of his head
“I will be the KING!!”, he proclaimed, only when Lawler is dead
His eyes—they were so blurry!! His speech so slurred!
His cheeks were red as cherry!! His vision was blurred!!
His mouth drooled like a sleeping bear“Do you know who I am?? Do you care??”
The straw of his drink he held tight in his teeth
And smoke encircled his head like a wreath
The Posse was here for the nightHe yelled, “TIWF keeps outdrawing us!! That is not right!!”
He was colored and blond, a right grumpy man
And I laughed when he said he was the best in the landA wink in his eye, a twist of his headPK Ripper was scheduled to wrestle again, oh I dread
He sprang out of the ring, to his crew gave a whistle
And away the workers flew behind him like the down of a thistle
But I heard him exclaim, as Slim Pickens drove him out of site“Merry Christmas to all, and I am Derrick King….DAMMIT!!

RWA Results from 12-20 in Jonesboro, AR

Martin opened the show welcoming the crowd and telling them that Santa Clause would be there at intermission and would have gifts for everyone in the building.

As the show started pp3's music hit and out came Lucky. Now Lucky and PP3 have been having some good matches but Lucky was dressed like a nerd...Martin told him he knew who PP3 was but he looked like PP squared! Lucky did a mic spill and told the crowd it would be the last time they would see him like that and the last time they would see PP3. He called out PP3 and told him that tonight would be the last match and after he beat PP3 then PP3 would have to be his man servant. Well then PP3 said if he wins then Lucky has to dress like a nerd and be his tag partner.

1st match Roger Allen vs Mike Titan. Winner Roger Allen.
2nd match John Allen vs Ron Rage. Winner Ron Rage.
3rd match The Loose Cannon vs Chupa Cabra' Winner The Loose Cannon
4th match Lucky vs PP3. Winner PP3
5th match Rodney Mack / JD Kerry VS "Angel of Sin" Byron Willcott [pictured]
6th match Mike Anthony and Poker Face VS Natural Born Playa'z No winner

Before the Lucky PP3 match Martin introduced the special referee for the match. It was Lucky's brother Lethal. Lucky was highly upset since he thought he put Lethal out of wrestling. The new tag team out of this is PP3 and PP Squared.

Rodney Mack made his way to the ring and was ready for his match with the Angel of Sin. But AOS pulled another rabbit out of his hat. He told Rodney there was no contract signed or no agreement signed between him and Mack. But when Mack left the building after the training period the AOS got J.D. Kerry to sign an agreement to wrestle him. He told Rodney that he did not play by the rules. That's when Kerry came out. Martin got into the middle of this since this was an advertised match. Martin told the AOS that this was his game and he made the rules not the AOS. He told Mack that if JD wins the match then Mack would be given his title match next week. This really made the AOS very mad. During the match he did all he could to hurt Kerry. As the AOS went for a suplex Mack came out and got his attention. Kerry reversed it and rolled AOS up and got the 3 count. Then Ron Rage who just made his return to the RWA came in the front door and attacked Rodney Mack. These two have a long history... The AOS joined in and as Mack and Kerry made their come back AOS and Rage took a powder. AOS told Mack he was sick of him and that he wanted a stipulation put into the match. It has to be a Loser Leave Arkansas. Mack agreed.

The main event was a Texas Tornado Death Match between The Natural Born Playa'z and Mike Anthony and Pokerface. This was an absolute brutal match. These 4 did not pull anything nor did they hold anything back. All four were bleeding from the numerous weapons they used. Mr Pimptacular and Mike Anthony came off the ring apron onto a wooden door propped up on for chairs. As they hit the door the chairs shot out from underneath and they landed on the door on the concrete floor and could not get up. Southside Brawler did a moonsault off the top rope onto a bunch of folding metal chairs pilled up in the ring. Then Pokerface came off the top rope with a frog splash and missed Southside and landed on the chairs also. No one could answer the 10 count. The match was 20 minutes long and one of the best hardcore matches seen.

Yes Santa Clause did show up at intermission and took pictures with the kids in the ring and gave every kid in the building a gift and then gave all the adults a gift. But before Santa could leave The Loose Cannon came out and told him he wanted a gift. Santa put his bag down and let Cannon look in the bag for a gift. While Cannon was bent over looking Santa took a chair and gave Cannon a great stiff chair shot. Martin told them to ring the bell and Santa Clause got a 3 count over Cannon. The crowd loved every minute of this and Santa Clause is undefeated in the RWA.

Good crowd for the holiday's there was 100+ in the building.
