Wellness Policy Suspensions

Written: August 30, 2007
Based on independent information received from investigators from the Albany County, NY D.A.’s office, WWE has today, under the penalty provisions of its wellness policy, issued suspension notices to 10 of its performers for violations. It has been WWE’s practice not to release the names of those who have been suspended, but notice has been sent to all WWE performers that names of anyone who is suspended under the Wellness Policy as of November 1 will be made public.

Bryan Danielson Update

Ring of Honor's Gabe Sapolsky confirmed on that Bryan Danielson was found to have a detached retina after meeting with an eye specialist on Monday. Danielson underwent laser surgery where they re-attached the retina and tightened the muscles around the eye. He is slated to be out of action for 4-6 weeks.

Sapolsky wrote the following about Danielson's injury at ROH's event in Manhattan this past weekend: "Everyone was in a great mood backstage and that quickly changed when Bryan sat down and word began to spread. The entire crew came over to see how Bryan was doing, who of course was taking it like a champ and saying it was no big deal. His eye was telling a different story. As the doctor was looking at it, his eye was rolled back into his head and it stayed that way. Bryan couldn't control it. It was really hard to look at. I can't even imagine how Bryan got through this."

AUGUST 27--Wrestler Hulk Hogan's teenage son, who last night crashed his car while apparently racing another vehicle on a Florida street, was cited earlier this month for speeding in a construction zone while workers were present. Nick Bollea, 17, was nabbed August 10 by Pinellas Park police after his 1998 Toyota was recorded going 82 mph is a 45 mph zone. He was also cited for failing to wear a seatbelt. The infractions occurred at about 10:30 AM on a stretch of U.S. Highway 19, the heavily trafficked corridor for north-south travel in Pinellas County. According to the traffic citations, copies of which you'll find below, Bollea is scheduled to appear in a St. Petersburg court on September 10 to answer the speeding charge. According to police, Bollea last night lost control of his Toyota Supra and crashed the vehicle on a Clearwater street. While Bollea was treated at a hospital for his injuries and released, his passenger, 22-year-old John Graziano, remains hospitalized in critical condition. Bollea stars with his father (real name: Terry Bollea) and other family members in "Hogan Knows Best," a VH1 reality show. The Bollea family recently moved to Pinellas County from Miami Beach.

Linda Hogan Speaks

Hulk Hogan's son Nick Bollea, seriously injured Sunday night after his car careened off the road and struck a 25-ft.-tall palm tree, has been released from St. Petersburg's Bayfront Medical Center in Florida, PEOPLE has confirmed.

"My son Nick and a friend were involved in a car accident last night. Nick suffered minor injuries and has been treated and released from the hospital," Linda Hogan tells PEOPLE in a statement. "His friend, John Graziano remains hospitalized."

"Nick is currently at the hospital with John and his family," she added. "His sole concern is for the well being of his friend. On behalf of my family, we ask that your thoughts and prayers be with John and his loved ones."

Bollea, 17, who was featured with his family on the pro wrestler's VH1 reality show Hogan Knows Best, was driving his yellow Toyota Supra down a four-lane highway in downtown Clearwater, Fla., when the car's rear tires hit the raised median, police said.

After fishtailing for several seconds, the car slammed into the palm tree.

Police called Hogan's injuries non-life-threatening, but say Graziano, 22, is in critical condition.

No charges have been filed. Police, however, say the case remains under investigation.

Nick Hogan Released, but passenger still in Hospital

Radio personality Bubba the Love Sponge, a known close friend of Hulk Hogan, said early Monday morning that Nick Hogan was released from the hospital.

"I just got back from the hospital, hulks son nick and a friend named john were involved in a pretty bad car crash today around 730pm, i cant get into details, but myself and my attorney kevin haslett were the only ones allowed to be in the trama center with hulk," wrote Bubba in a blog entry on his website. "I can tell you this, nick left the hospital with me when we were leaving and is headed home to rest, he is ok."

According to Bubba, John, the male passenger who was in the car at the time of the crash, remains in the hospital.

He wrote, "The other boy john, needs our prayers……….he is still in the hospital, thats all i can say at this point."

Nick and the passenger John were taken to the hospital Sunday night after suffering a bad car crash that left Nick Hogan's Toyota Supra destroyed.

Update on Nick Hogan

Two helicopters were used to transport Nick Hogan and a companion to a local Clearwater hospital after a wreck earlier tonight. The companion is said to be in critical condition and one local news report said he is battling for his life. Nick Hogan, who was driving the car, is not believed to have been as seriously injured and is being treated for a suspected broken arm and facial injuries.

Good friend/promoter Rob Russen is helping gather some of the news for us in Florida and reports "Linda Hogan and her daughter Brooke are in Los Angeles. When the news of the accident reached them they immediately made plans to return tonight on a red eye flight."

Nick Hogan in Serious Condition, Passenger in Critical

According to

Hulk Hogan's son Nick Bollea was seriously injured Sunday night after his car careened off the road and struck a palm tree.

Bollea, who was featured with the rest of his family on the pro wrestler's VH1 reality show Hogan Knows Best, was driving his yellow Toyota Supra down a four-lane highway in downtown Clearwater, Fla., when the car's rear tires hit the raised median, police said. After fishtailing for several seconds, the car slammed into a 25-foot tall palm tree.

"His car inexplicably left the road," Clearwater Police spokesman Wayne Shelor tells PEOPLE, "and it was totally destroyed upon impact."

The cause of the crash is unknown, although police believe the car was traveling at a high rate of speed. "We don't know exactly what happened," says Shelor, "but we are investigating."

Bollea, 17, and his male passenger had to be extracted from the vehicle using the "jaws of life." They were placed on a Medivac helicopter where they were flown seven minutes to nearby Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg.

Bollea is in serious condition, while his passenger has been listed in critical condition.

Police alerted Hulk Hogan to the accident. According to a hospital source, the wrestler and his family are in a private waiting room as Bollea is being treated for "very serious, life-threatening" injuries. Hogan declined to address the media through a hospital spokesperson on Sunday evening, but plans to make a statement on Monday morning.

CLEARWATER, Fla. (AP) -- Hulk Hogan's son Nick was seriously injured in a car crash Sunday night, police said.

A Toyota Supra driven by Nick Bollea was traveling at a high rate of speed at approximately 7:30 p.m., Clearwater Police spokesman Wayne Shelor said. Bollea, which is Hogan's real name, lost control and hit a raised median. The car flipped around, and the back end hit a palm tree.

"The car was destroyed," Shelor said.

Bollea and an unidentified male passenger were extricated from the car by paramedics, Shelor said. Then they were airlifted to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg. Their official conditions were not immediately available, but Shelor described the injuries of both men as serious.

The crash occurred on SR 60, which is a main drag through downtown Clearwater. The road had to be shut down in both directions for several hours, Shelor said.

Alcohol is not believed to have played a part in the crash. The crash seems to have been caused by excessive speed, Shelor said.

Catching Up With Paul Bearer

Catching up with Paul Bearer
By Brett Hoffman
Written: April 11, 2007After 15 years in the wrestling business, Percy Pringle was determined to step up to the major leagues of sports-entertainment. Nearly two decades ago, Percy walked into WWE headquarters for an interview that he hoped would help him accomplish that very goal. Little did he know that shortly thereafter he would become Paul Bearer, and was about to embark on a journey that would take him to the top of the wrestling world.

As a mortician prior to his life in wrestling, Paul Bearer was a perfect fit for his role as manager of a young, ghoulish looking character known as Undertaker. In the decade and change that followed their union in 1991, the chemistry between Bearer and The Deadman would carry them to unforeseen heights, which included multiple championships and a place in history as one of the most successful duos to grace a WWE arena.

While managing Undertaker, Bearer enjoyed some of the most memorable experiences of his career. The urn-carrying manager cites many overseas tours, including a trip to London’s Wembley Stadium in 1992 for SummerSlam, and multiple appearances at WrestleMania as just a few highlights of his lengthy WWE tenure. One of the proudest moments of his career however, came outside of the ring during an early edition of Bearer’s talk show segment, appropriately titled The Funeral Parlor.

“I have a picture of it hanging on my wall,” said Bearer. “Ric Flair had just joined the company, and I had both him and Hulk Hogan in The Funeral Parlor at the same time. As I was standing there with these two legends on either side of me, I thought to myself, ‘Where do I go from here? This is the top of the mountain.’ I’ll never forget it.”

Over the years, Bearer and Undertaker severed ties on many occasions, only to reunite in grand fashion to the delight of WWE fans. One of the most emotional nights of Bearer’s career took place in Madison Square Garden at WrestleMania XX when, after an extended hiatus, he was once again reunited with Undertaker. As Bearer explained to, his dramatic return almost never took place due to a particular issue with his health that threatened not only his career, but also his life.

“I weighed 525 pounds,” remembered Bearer. “When I left the road, I had a lot of problems. My wife was sick, I was depressed, and I gained a lot of weight. I was a big man for a lot of the years that I managed Undertaker, but I carried it well. At this point though, I could barely walk around my house.”

Bearer continued, detailing the phone call that would change his life forever.

“I got a call asking if I wanted to come back,” recalled Bearer. “I told them I would love to, but I didn’t think there was any way I could get back on the road in my condition. They asked what they could do to help me, so I told them about the gastric bypass surgery.”

Knowing that Bearer didn’t have the money or insurance to cover the costs of the expensive and risky surgery, WWE made Bearer an offer he couldn’t refuse.

“A few days later, I received another call,” said Bearer. “They said that they would really like to have me back, and so, as a signing bonus they offered to pay for the surgery. To make a long story short, I had the surgery and lost 240 pounds. The surgery saved my life, and without it, you wouldn’t be hearing from me today.”

Today, several years after his last appearance on WWE TV, Bearer has returned to his original trade in the funeral service industry. Toting a degree in mortuary science and a license he continually renewed during his years on the road, Bearer manages a full service funeral home in his hometown of Mobile, Ala.

“I’m the boss,” said Bearer. “I’m the managing funeral director, and I oversee all the operations within our crematory, cemetery and mausoleum. I also am an embalmer, and I offer grief counseling. I handle families from the time the person dies, until we put them in the ground.”

Believe it or not, Bearer draws on his experience in the world of sports-entertainment when preparing for a funeral service.

“The funeral isn’t for the dead person,” said Bearer. “It’s almost like a show for the living. There’s a distinct parallel between this and a WWE show. When WWE comes to town, they need to coordinate with the arenas and arrange for promotion of the event. When I set up a funeral, I need to coordinate plans with the church, the minister and the families. It’s a very similar procedure.”

Outside of the funeral home, Bearer likes to keep a finger on the pulse of the wrestling business. The veteran of the squared circle owns and operates his own promotion down south. Bearer boasts a mission statement to “celebrate tradition and set new standards,” all under the watchful eye of one of sports-entertainment’s most knowledgeable personalities.

Through his promotion, Bearer is able to stay close to the fans that cheered for him and Undertaker for so many years. A humble Bearer offers a simple message to those fans that followed his career.

“Thank you for giving me the opportunity to entertain you.”

TIWF Card for Saturday night in Jackson, TN

So the eve of destruction is upon us. Tomorrow night, 25 August 07, live at the True Force Arena, will be the battle to end the war.

Team TIWF v. Team Empire. Eight of the biggest superstars in the TIWF face off to determine who changes and who doesn't.

Team Empire- Big Boy BOB, Steven Rampage, Dre Black, and new TIWF champ Wildside, 4 twisted yet talented individuals who, along with Ravishing Randy, Flossy, and Fluffy, have pretty much run roughshod over the TIWF for almost a year. Team TIWF- Moondog Rex, Weasel, Lawman Williams, and the Elusive Enigma P.K. Ripper, and their representative Jon Seymour, have fought for the TIWF faithful at the same time.

And there's more history than that involved. Team Empire has made fun of all of Team TIWF on a regular basis. There has been bad blood between P.K. Ripper and Wildside for quite some time. Weasel, Rex, Bob, and Rampage have had their run-ins, and Randy has put out a bounty for someone to take Lawman out of wrestling!

Jon and Randy have been at each other's throats for over a year, battling over the commissioner's position in the TIWF. And now, the battle for seemingly total control in the TIWF.

See the battle to end all wars! Come out to the True Force Arena, located at 256 Gill St. in Jackson, on Saturday night, 25 August 07. Bell time is 7:30 p.m., and tickets are just $ 4.00 at the door (children under 6 get in free). Come see the superstars of the TIWF battle for supremacy in the squared circle.

Bubba Boudreaux & Kaleb Kastle defeated Max Steele & "Dangerous" David Cox. T-Byrd and Max, prior to the match, made it known that they were not happy having Cox for a partner. T-Byrd said that if they lost the match, they would not be here next week. Steele & Cox lost, so they have to stay away for next week's show.

The semi-main event was an eight-man tag team match, The New Age Cowboys (Josh Holly & Chris Kilgore) and Crazy-N-Sexy (J-Kidd & Curly Moe) w/Dirty Reel Moe vs. "Bad Attitude" Tony Dabbs, "The Future" Chris Styles, Fusion, & "Spectacular" Shawn Reed, along with T-Byrd and all the members of Attitude, Inc. This was wild and crazy, to say the least. Referee Joey Lynn Had his hands full from the beginning. The match was won by Dabbs, Styles, Fusion, and Reed when XOW Promoter Tony "The Weasel" Watts, who was at ringside watching the match, interfered by pushing Josh Holly off the top rope. The chaos continued after the match while the participants brawled in and out of the ring. Shawn Reed grabbed Mama Denise by the throat, but Josh Matthews came out of the back and confronted him, and Shawn released her. While Reed's attention was on Matthews, Anita Page came out of the back and gave Reed a chair shot to the back.

In the main event DC defeated JR Mauler to retain the TFW Championship.

Our 4th annual Cibernetico comes to Philly on September 22!

Once a year we host a match unlike anything seen here in the United States. The Cibernetico is a 16-man elimination match, made up of 2 squads of 8 wrestlers each, and in the past, it's proven to be a favorite of our fans and followers.

This year, the Cibernetico is poised to pit the forces of the Kings of Wrestling against Lince Dorado and a team of luchadores, but most of the participants are a mystery at this point.

At "Here Come the International Invaders: 2nd Stage," Mitch Ryder helped Shayne Hawke defeat Lince Dorado, and then accepted the young Canadian onto his team. So far, Hawke is the only confirmed wrestler apart from the respective team captains involved in the Cibernetico.

Two official announcements will be part of our Sept. 6th online PPV (podcast-per-view thingy!), but until then, have a look at what's in store:

Hogan and Bischoff Together Again?

I was listening to the Bubba the Love Sponge Sirius Radio Show today, and in passing conversation he mentioned that he had been talking with Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff. He then declared that the three were working on a HUGE project that would be announced soon.

That was the end of the conversation, but it should be interesting to see what the three are working and what effect that could potentially have on the wrestling world. Again, he mentioned this in passing and Hogan has been known in the past to hype up projects and never go through with them. So, who knows!?

RPW Surprise

I talked to Brody hawk on the phone recently, and he told me that his partner, "The Studd" Scott Porteau has dissolved the partnership and left RPW. That is a major surprise. I was looking forward to some of the things Studd had in mind, because there is never a dull moment when he is involved. There is apparently no heat between Studd & Brody, circumstances simply prevented Mike from continuing as a partner. Brody said Studd is welcome to come to RPW and wrestle any time he wants to. Brody said he was working hard on some ideas for future shows and getting the crowd up, and is still working on changes to the building (air conditioning would be nice, Brody, lol). Brody told me that Danny B. Good is on the way back to RPW, and that Hittman is coming in as well. We also talked about some ladies possibly coming in. Stay tuned, folks, RPW will get bigger and better.

Steve Corino leaves the Wrestling life

The End Of The Road Is Near

Just over four months left until The King Of Old School Steve Corino hangs up the boots for good. Corino has stated many times this year that he will never wrestle as Steve Corino again and is looking forward to life after wrestling.

Steve would like fans around the world to know that he is so grateful to everyone for all of the support they have given him over the last 13 years.

“The fans are the reason that the wrestlers get what Roddy Piper says is ‘The Sickness” says Corino. “You get that reaction from the crowd and you always want more. The fans around the world are the reason I have been so successful.

Dan Rodman Fired!

The following is from

WWE has come to terms on the release of developmental talent Dan Rodman. We wish Dan all the best in his future endeavors.

The following is from

This is fairly significant as he was Stephanie McMahon's pet project and was nearly brought up to the main roster numerous times. He also worked house shows against John Cena.

Major Announce Team Shakeup?

Monday night was a test run to see how Jim Ross and Tazz would do as a team, and some people were impressed. Vince McMahon has been wanting to split up J.R. and Lawler for some time, feeling the combo is "too Southern," but television producer Kevin Dunn is strongly against it. If it's made permanent, Lawler would join Joey Styles in ECW, and occasionally work matches there as well. Dusty Rhodes really wants Lawler on ECW. Lawler and J.R. are really close and would obviously not be happy with the change.

I don't feel like splitting up Lawler and J.R. is the answer to solve the current problem with ECW. Here's an idea-Get some new talent instead of having the same 10 people on the show week after week.

Oh Crap...............................................................

Well, I guess it is my turn. Now that D-Rock has "explained" his previous statements, although the story is a little... um... far out, it is quite obvious that I owe Gene Jackson an apology for the paragraph I wrote yesterday accusing him of trying to lure a writer from this site to BT's board. Just an hour before I sat down to write my response to Gene's tirade, I was told again that it was true, that it actually happened, that D-Rock really did get an email from Gene inviting him to start writing for RasslinRiot. Obviously, it ain't so. D-Rock has, for all intents and purposes, backtracked in a big way. There is another young man that has also been running his mouth, and he had both Hollywood and me believing the story. I will deal with you both. You can count on it, boys. But to Gene Jackson, all I have to say is that I am sorry for the erroneous paragraph I wrote. I stand behind everything else I said.

- Axeman

What Happened

Sorry for the delay. I promise you will be sorely disappointed. It seems, like I am a hot topic of conversation at the moment regarding the whole Gene Jackson message drama that has been completely blown out of proportion here on the site. It’s really a bizarre story that I did not want anyone to know about because I knew it would result in absolute pandemonium like it has. You see, I’ve been having my share of computer problems over the past couple months with people hacking into my MySpace account. This has been resulting in my profile sending numerous weird messages, bulletins, and comments to several friends. Some of these messages tend to advertise XXX sites, Macy’s cards, Male enhancement drugs, and free Applebee’s dinners. In addition, a couple of my friends received strange messages supplying false information about what I was going to be doing later that night. I can delete bulletins and comments, but I don't have any proof when the hacker sends these messages. The person that receives them is the only one that knows. If you have been on MySpace for a certain length of time, then you may have experienced some of these problems. I don’t think it’s no big deal. I think these things happen to everybody once in awhile. As a matter of fact, both Jimmy and Tia have lost some of their friends here recently on MySpace, so there is definitely some crazy stuff going on over there.

Here is what happened with the Gene Jackson message: I received a message last week from the MySpace profile of Gene Jackson wanting me to leave this site. However, I didn't reply to the message because I had been hacked earlier that day (you can check your MySpace bulletins on Aug. 14th for proof) and did not believe it was really Gene. I thought it was a hacker or someone just trying to stir up problems between the two sites because the spelling and grammar was way off. It was nothing like anything that Gene would send. I think someone was just trying to play a joke on me, which I can be quite vulnerable to at times, but I would have never imagined that it would have gotten out of hand like it did. I DID NOT REPLY to the message and deleted it because it was not legit. I should have sent Gene a message back telling him about it, but I did not think it was that big of a deal because I thought someone was toying with me. I've also been pretty busy and have had a very limited amount of time to even get online. I did not plan on telling anyone about it, but I did mention to one person about the weird message that I received and DID NOT REPLY TO as we were shooting the breeze and I told him to NOT REPEAT IT on several occasions, again for the fear of all the chaos that has now transpired. I also told my friend, over the phone, (AGAIN, I DID NOT REPLY TO THE MESSAGE) that I was not going anywhere, because I am truly grateful and blessed to have this great opportunity that Jimmy and Tia has given me to report on their AWESOME website,

Unfortunately, he did repeat it, as we all tend to do at times, but continually told those he told not to repeat it. When the water got to a boiling point between Axeman and Gene, Axeman wanted to report about it. Axeman is not a liar. He reported what was told to him and it was the truth. I just wish he would have contacted me before he posted it, to save us all of this nonsense. I did receive a message from Gene Jackson, but THE REAL GENE JACKSON DID NOT SEND IT TO ME. It was a damn hacker that wanted to play a joke and stir up trouble, which, in result, they clearly did the latter. I am a HUGE fan of both Axeman and Gene and don’t wanna be in the middle of their misunderstanding, especially over some silliness like this. This all could have been avoided if certain people that were told, to not say anything about it, would have kept quiet, but we are all human and make mistakes. It was all a big joke, that someone tried to stir up and they succeeded. I apologize to Axeman, Jimmy, and most importantly, Gene for this big mess. This was all just a big misunderstanding and I am truly sorry about it.

The Battle Lines Are Drawn!

I guess by now you have all read Gene Jackson's (photo at left) little tantrum that he posted at, which is BT's (photo at right) site today. If you have not yet read it, click on the link, read it, and then come back here and finish reading this response to his tirade.
These remarks are directed at Gene Jackson. They represent my opinion and mine alone. I mention BT only because he allowed Gene Jackson to post the personal attack on RasslinRiot.
Gene starts his attack with a preface, talking about how much he likes and respects and Tia, and how he considers them to be friends, and how he hopes they don't take what he says the wrong way, etc., etc., etc. It seems to me that if he likes Jimmy and Tia so much, he would not have sent an email, behind Jimmy's back, to one of the writers here on this site, trying to get him to leave and go over to BT's site. Yeah, Gene, that's true friendship.
Frankly, before Gene posted his public attack, I considered him to be a friend. It is very true that we have, from time to time, not seen eye to eye about things. There's nothing wrong with that. Differing opinions make life interesting. I still considered him to be a friend. I had no idea that he feels the way he does. If, however, that's the way he feels, I guess there is nothing I can do about it.
A couple of weeks back, BT made it very obvious that he was upset with me about something I used from his site and did not give him credit for. I did what I considered to be the right thing. I contacted BT (via Yahoo Messenger) and we discussed it. He told me what he was upset about. I went back and read the post (my post about Lacey Von Erich). He was correct. I had neglected to give proper credit. I apologized, not only for that incident, but for any other time I might have inadvertently failed to give credit where credit was due. I have since then used a couple of things from RasslinRiotonline, and have taken great care to give proper credit each time. I considered the matter closed, resolved, finished. Apparently, this is not the case.
When BT started his site, I told him he could use any information from my columns he wanted to use. I told him that again a few days ago when we had our on line discussion. I also told him I don't care if he gives me credit or not. I still feel that way. If I was writing the columns and posting results on the news board for money, that would be one thing. But I do not get one stinking dime for it. So he can use whatever he wants. I don't care.
Anyway, back to what Gene wrote. Gene talked about what a great job Tia had done on the site. He then said, "They added a newscenter. That was fine too, seemed a bit odd for someone's personal website, but whatever that's their business no skin off anyone's back." Well, Gene, what is so odd about it? is a wrestling site. Lots of wrestling sites have news centers. I do not see anything so odd about that. It is certainly no odder than BT having one on his site.
Gene goes on to say, "You've got Axeman posting results that he clearly got from rasslinriot (which is fine by the way) but he lists the credit as (credit: that other site or another site or some shit I don't remember it's 1:30 am right now) point being that he was trying to be a dick about it." Well, Gene, I have certainly never called you anything like that. A little uncalled for, don't you think? I have also never written "credit: that other site or another site or some shit I don't remember it's 1:30 am right now." I did refer to RasslinRiotonline as "another site" in my post about Lacey Von Erich. As stated earlier, I apologized to BT about that. The matter was resolved, at least until now, when Gene Jackson decides to stick his fat butt into business that is not his.
Gene also says, "Then Axeman acts shocked his name was taken off the site as a contributor." Well, frankly, I was. That is what brought to my attention there was a problem between BT and me, which I contacted BT about and thought I had gotten straightened out.
Gene continues his attack by saying, "Now Axeman is all arrogant in his column like he's the fuckin' wrestling news pimp or something...." There goes Gene again, dropping the f-bomb. I do not understand why he can't make his point without doing that. Gene Jackson called me arrogant? Well, he's entitled to his opinion, but Gene calling someone else arrogant is rich! The entire tirade Gene wrote reeks of arrogance.
Gene then gives a couple of examples of my so called "arrogance." OK, Gene, whatever.
Gene says, "Maybe it's just me but he comes off like an arrogant prick here." There you go again with the name calling, Gene, what are you, six years old!? It's just you, Gene.
Gene keeps on attacking, "What exactly are your credentials to so arrogantly talk about things like wrestling? The fact that you CLAIM you wrestled for the Von Erichs in World Class back in the day but have NEVER ONCE been able to show one shred of evidence that there's ANY truth to that whatsoever and whenever people bring it up you just avoid the topic til it goes away." Well, Gene, I know who I am, what I have done, and where I've been, and I certainly do not have to provide any evidence to prove anything to the likes of you. Frankly, that was a time in my life that I would like to forget, because I screwed it up royally. One day, if and when I ever decide to leave wrestling for good, I will sit down with a certain individual (he knows who he is) and give details and tell all. By the way, Gene, I NEVER claimed to have worked in World Class. It was not always called World Class.
The attack continues, "Is it the fact that you took that bullshit premise that you USED to wrestle back in the day and bullshitted your way into the inner sanctum of local wrestling in that area and somehow went from sitting in the crowd buying a ticket to local shows to suddenly being the resident "expert" on the subject, even though most of your critiques of matches are way off base from someone who is an "old school" wrestler from back in the day." Geez, what a run-on sentence that was! Well, just who are you, Gene, to decide what someone who is "old school" should write like? As far as being an "expert," Gene, I am no more of an expert that you are, and you are a long way from being an expert. I do have an opinion, and do feel that I am as qualified as anyone to express it. If you have a problem with that, Gene, it's your problem, not mine. Deal with it. The fact is, you read my column. If you do not like it, do not read it. Then you won't get so upset. Being so angry is not good for you, Gene.
Gene says, toward the end of his attack, "You told Brian, if he 'wanted heat, that was fine' well I hope you meant it, cause you fucking have it now. I really don't know what making things bitter and turning things into some sort of battle accomplishes but I guess we'll see.' "Geez, there's that f-bomb again. It seems to me that YOU, Gene, have fired the first shot. It seems like YOU, Gene, are the one sowing anger and bitterness, not me. What will it accomplish? Well, why don't YOU let me know if it accomplishes what YOU wanted it to. As far as what I told BT, I prefaced it by saying that I do not want heat with anyone. I still don't, not with BT, not with you, not with anyone.
What it looks like to me is that you and BT are jealous. You are jealous of, you are jealous of, you are jealous of the great look the site has, and you are jealous of me. Well, Gene, jealousy is a dangerous thing. It is not good for you. It will make you angry and bitter. Looks like it already has.
Gene, the fact is I was posting wrestling show results in my column and doing interviews long before BT ever started RasslinRiot. I get my information from web sites, that's true. I give credit where credit is due in these cases. In some cases I have permission from different wrestling organizations to use information from their web sites. In a lot of cases the results are emailed to me. I told BT when we talked before that if I use information from RasslinRiot I will give the site proper credit. So I see no reason for your hate and venom to be spread across the news board at RasslinRiot. I do hope it made you feel better.
Gene, if you had a beef with me, wouldn't it have been better if you had just contacted me? It seems like that would have been the right thing to do. That way we could have discussed it like men, and probably resolved the issues, instead of you posting your venom and bitterness on the Internet, and my wasting several hours of a vacation day writing this response.
In conclusion, I pass this information on to you, Gene, because I think you can use it. The information is about RESPECT. Read it. Learn from it. It was written by Brianna Starr on her My Space site. Here is a link if you want to check it out: I got the link from her post on the message board at
Here is what she has to say: "What needs to happen? Honestly I don't know. I can say a good start would be starting at the beginning. Learn for first; well let me restate that, what SHOULD be the first rule of wrestling when you start to train.
1 RESPECT for the business as a whole (it should be an honor to be a worker in such a great business, don't take it for granted)
2 RESPECT for the workers of the past (remember if it was not for them none of us would be in the business, or have wanted to be in this business)
3 RESPECT for the current workers (whether you have personal heat with them or not we are all a part of a wrestling family lets respect each other)
4 RESPECT for the promotions (they let you get in there and work, or might let you work in the future don't burn bridges that can't be rebuilt)
5 RESPECT for other peoples property (in this I mean don't steal rather its from a worker {i.e. gear, money, bags}, from the promotion { i.e. dvds, belts, equipment, angles, workers, etc.} Look we all work hard in our real jobs to be able to pay our bills and have that extra cash to buy gear, boots, belts, what ever the case might me, so don't be a low life and steal things that are not yours. And even worse sale and make a profit on something you did not pay for.)
6 RESPECT for the people who train you (rather you like them now or not, they had a hand in making you what you are today)
7 RESPECT for the FANS!!!!! Remember it's them that we are there for, without them where would we be?
8 And most of all RESPECT of kayfabe (if you're a worker and don't know what that means then get the hell out of the business)
There has been a lot and I mean A LOT of bad press for wrestling lately, its time we start building this business back up and it can only start when RESPECT is put back into the business. So let's drop the petty bull shit and get back to the focus. If you love this sport, which you should if your in it, then show you love it by respecting and protecting it."
Have a nice day, Gene, and I sincerely mean that!

TFW Show Results from 8-17-07 in Tupelo

The show started with Attitude Inc. coming to the ring to run their mouths, as usual. They started off talking about the three guys from Tennessee they had gotten thrown out of the building last week. They ran their mouths for a few minutes, and TFW Promoter Denise Blaylock arrived at the show (a few minutes late). They immediately got on her case about being late, and then in walk the three guys who were kicked out last week. They had purchased tickets to the show, and Attitude, Inc could do nothing about them being there, and continued to bad mouth them. Commissioner Sammy Hall showed up and presented the trio with wrestling licenses, saying that their paperwork had come in from Tennessee and they were now licensed. They are called J-Kid and Curly Moe, and together, along with their Manager, Dirty Reel Moe, are the tag team known as Crazy-N-Sexy. J-Kid & Curly Moe hit the ring and gave Chris Styles and Tony Dabbs Ace Crushers. A match between Crazy-N-Sexy & Attitude, Inc., was set up for later in the show. The opening match was a four corners match for the TFW Light-Heavyweight belt, Champion "Prime Time" Nick Grymes defending against LSD, Chris Chaos, and OMEGA. It was a wild match, which was eventually won by Nick Grymes, who retains the belt. After the match Omega approached LSD wanting to shake his hand and saying, "I'm impressed." LSD was hesitant at first, and the crowd did not want him to shake Omega's hand, but eventually he did shake his hand. Omega then beat LSD down. Dirty Sanchez defeated "Dangerous" David Cox. The Freakshow (Chop Top the Clown & Vinnie the Blade) came to the ring. Chop spoke first and said, "The Freakshow is back." Vinnie then spoke and it immediately became obvious that there were problems between the two. Vinnie blamed Chop for losing their Tag Team belts (you will remember that Chop had to defend them by himself when Vinnie was gone). The situation went from bad to worse and Vinnie turned on Chop and attacked him. A match was set up between the two later in the show. Obviously the tag team known as The Freakshow is history. Chazz defeated Devon Raynes by DQ. Former TFW Champion Max Steele w/T-Byrd and the members of Attitude, Inc. demolished Jake Prentiss. Apparently Steele took his frustration at losing his belt the previous week out on Prentiss. Steele repeatedly said, "The old Max is back." Bless defeated Cassannova Kid. Vinnie the Blade defeated Chop Top the Clown in a wild match. Josh Matthews vs. Shawn Reed ended in a double count out. To say this match was wild would be an understatement. Denise told them afterward that because things have gotten so out of control between them, they need to cool off for a couple of weeks, and if either touches the other during the next two weeks they will be suspended. Shawn Reed took his frustrations out on the ring announcer, Hunter Montgomery Jackson, by slapping the crap out of him. Attitude, Inc. ("Bad Attitude" Tony Dabbs & "The Future" Chris Styles) w/T-Byrd, Bless, and Max Steele cheated their way to victory over Crazy N' Sexy (Curly Moe & J-Kid) w/Dirty Reel Moe. "DC" David Cross defeated Fusion to retain the TFW belt.

The crowd was way up, I would say in the 135 range, and they were loud throughout the show. Crazy N' Sexy got a huge pop from the crowd, and they were very impressive. The entire show was good. In fact, I can say it was the best show TFW has had in a very long time. There were no bad matches, and the last four matches were main event quality.

This week's TFW card will include: Chazz Stone vs. Devon Raynes in a dog food match. The loser has to eat dog food. Also on the card is a re-match between Crazy-N-Sexy and Attitude, Inc. It should be a great show. Bell time is 8:00 at the TFW Building on Auburn Road.
